WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You'll be a part of the Sport and Merchandising Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Director of Emerging Growth and Brands Analytics. You will work across a wide range initiatives across emerging growth and brands but will also serve as the primary liaison between NikeSKIMs cross-functional teams and sports analytics. This includes partnering closely with functions such as strategy, finance, planning, product, merchandising, brand, marketplace and Nike Direct and the geography.

seeking to deliver impactful work on behalf of the broader Emerging Growth and Brand Analytics team.
Bachelor’s degree in consumer insights, business analytics, strategy or related field, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
5+ years’ experience working in consumer and marketplace insights and analytics. Experience in product and/or retail data and metrics preferred.
Demonstrated ability to partner on cross-functional teams supporting strategy across an organization, including stakeholder engagement.
Ability to solve complex issues, including problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills.
Compelling, high-impact data and insights storyteller with a track record for engaging stakeholders and delivering results.
Curiosity, ability to self-start and willingness to learn new technical skills.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The Emerging Growth and Brand Analytics team works across multiple businesses – ACG, NikeSKIMS, Golf and Tennis and alongside our key analytics partners. As part of the sport analytics team, you will shepherd insights and create holistic marketplace and consumer perspectives using the full rigor of our analytics methodologies. As a Sport Analytics Lead, you will help Nike gain a broader and deeper understanding of emerging sport and brand opportunities by transforming complex data across multiple sources into clear, actionable intelligence for the business, both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
You will:
Translate business needs into actionable insights through synthesis and distillation of complex data.
Balance trade-offs between speed, cost and impact in developing methodologies to address business questions.
Deliver storytelling & synthesis: Visualization of complex data-driven insights with business context to deliver relevant data-informed decision-making.
Persuasively communicate insights and tailor messaging to stakeholders at all levels to ensure work is aligned to stakeholder needs.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of data sources and methodologies.
Independently identify and propose analytics/insights solutions to address key business questions.
Adept across multiple data and technical platforms (e.g. POS dashboards, consumer panels, retail analytics platforms).
Understanding of coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and usage of analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, Github, Snowflake, Tableau).
Will mentor peers and contribute to decisions within the team.
