Lead Strategy Manager - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Provide planning, support, research and advice to senior management in areas of communications, corporate and government affairs and strategic planning; responsible for developing and implementing firm wide strategy, provided based on specialized knowledge and best practices; align objectives with human capital and financial resources; translate business strategy to develop, implement, and maintain internal and external policies and programs to ensure that the firm is represented positively to the media, the general public, and stakeholders; responsible for the analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-term business strategies and market initiatives; work with non-routine information and develops recommendations for ideas or services; develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results; synthesize and translate insights into key takeaways and possible paths to action to answer critical enterprise questions; assess and recommend actionable and implementable solutions to strategic problems, identifying connections and implications beyond own work stream, and beyond the scope of the project / area of the business; influence and present to senior leadership by structuring final presentations, such as using storytelling and compelling slides to communicate insights and implications of own work stream; direct and steer effective business meetings with business partners, building alignment around insights and implications; provides direction and mentorship to teammates; communicate clearly to a broad audience; solve problems using limited information and implements solutions with the ability to foresee most future implications, and take initiative to improve upon existing processes; and advise others on complex matters using skills to understand complex work, such as in-depth knowledge or conceptual thinking. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics or Business Administration and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a business-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include: 
 
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis 
• Conducting and analyzing research related to consumers, industries and competitors 
• Developing presentations using Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint 
• Financial modeling 
• Applying strategic problem-solving frameworks 
• Reasoning and solving technical problems 
• Project management
