WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

You will be part of EMEA Supply Chain Seasonal Excellence; the team that manages the smooth flow of inventory across EMEA to deliver strong Availability, Orderbook health, Working Capital, and logistic efficiency.

You will work closely with Nike Marketplace Supply Chain Partner teams, as well as cross-functionally with Nike Direct (eCommerce and Stores), Commercial Consumer x Marketplace teams, and key partners in Demand & Supply Management and Logistics.

Finally, to drive the data & analytics agenda you will work together with teams in Data & AI, (Supply Chain) Analytics, and Nike Technology. Both within EMEA as well as with our Global World Headquarters teams based in Portland, USA.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a strong expert lead who will enable the Nike Marketplace Supply Chain teams to make data-driven decisions in support of business delivery towards our operational KPIs (Service, Convenience, Sustainability and Profitability). You will be hands-on working on developing new reporting and analytics tools and additionally help build the community and grow data literacy across our teams. A naturally curious person who learns quickly, as you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of business domains.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • Advanced knowledge and proven experience in Reporting & Data Analysis (e.g. Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Excel, Cognos, and/or similar tools)
  • Ability to translate business needs to sustainable data & analytics solutions - from design to the creation and go-live of new solutions. Self-starter, with an ambition to drive change
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in Supply Chain & Operations with a consumer-centric mindset, preferably in a Wholesale or (Omnichannel) Retail context
  • Strong experience in performance metrics (KPIs), root cause analysis and/or scenario planning with the ability to translate complex data sets into tangible business insights through visualization (e.g. graphs, tables)
  • Preferably combined with an understanding and ideally hands-on experience with Advanced Analytics methods (Optimization, AI/ML, Python)
  • Strong sense for teaming and developing others, with the ability to bring a community of like-minded people together and support data & analytics skill development in both analyst and business teams
  • Good understanding of latest digital tools and trends, with a natural drive for innovation and technology – actively sharing external and internal best practices and learnings

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

Your core objective will be to provide relevant and accurate insights and data for the business teams to make better data-driven decisions. You will drive operational excellence to serve our supply chain teams through effective, detailed and timely business intelligence, reports and data driven recommendations.

You will do this by creating visibility for the business teams in their daily processes through reports and dashboards, in support of business delivery towards our marketplace and operational KPIs. Working together with the wider data analyst community, you will work on varying initiatives with the overall objective of ensuring an optimal flow of products into the marketplace from order entry to delivery and back.

Additionally, we are building a roadmap to create decision excellence solutions, with the ambition to embed more analytical tools to support or automate decision-making. You will be a key player in creating the strategy, as well as in building the design and prototypes of these solutions.

Finally, you get the opportunity to build and develop the community of reporting & analytics professionals in Marketplace Supply Chain, including to:

  • Bring together, inspire, coach, and grow the community of (Sr.) Analysts and Specialists across teams
  • Develop data & analytical skills and awareness – both for data professionals such as data analysts and for Run & Improve business teams
  • Advancing and standardizing the tools & methods we use
  • Drive consistency across teams on our reporting & analytics approach (tools, look & feel, etc.)
  • Bring inspiration through sharing external and internal best practices and learning
