WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will partner with our Latam marketing partners to bring a distinct Nike training POV to the territories. You will lead Mexico grassroots programming throughout the city to connect, push and inspire our training teen athletes.
You will work with Geo and functional partners to drive a robust plan for Mexico and continually build new consumer experiences that accelerate the brand and business growth opportunities internally and externally.
You will champion our Latam consumer, specifically our training teen athlete and regularly share insights to teams in Mexico and APLA.
Part of your role will be the following:
- Obsess the Latam training teen athlete and their needs, consistently delivering experiences that connect with them and their community.
- Build and deliver Seasonal plans and drive activations against key product launches and sports moments such as Hyrox, ADT among others.
- Develop, plan and execute a trainers plan to strengthen our ground game.
- Partner with Nike Sports Marketing to elevate trainers storytelling and integration into Mexico and Latam programming and activations.
- Support an end-to-end insight process, regularly feeding insights and trends from Latam consumers back up through the organization.
- Work cross functionally with other sports like Football, Running and Sportswear teams to ensure the intersection of Sport and Sport culture is infused across plans, as well as uncovering cross sport opportunities specially with football.
- Track and manage seasonal campaign progress, including recapping and teardowns and having a pulse on the cities consumers to feed insights back.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead Training Brand Marketing efforts in Mexico and Latin America. The ideal candidate should have an unrivaled understanding and deep passion for the training environment, with expertise spanning across strength, hit, barre, yoga, pilates as well as understanding the gym and studio landscape. This candidate should be a consumer obsessed marketer, a team-first collaborator, energy-giving partner, and brand innovator with an openness to learn.
Qualified candidates should have experience leading brand strategy, orchestrating cross-channel marketing plans and navigating partnerships. Should posses a comprehensive understanding of the multi-sports calendar and display sharp insights into the interest and motivations of the latin teen athlete. A keen awareness of nuances and intricacies of the Mexico training scene is essential, alongside the ability to lead multiple projects across a matrixed organization. While bringing in key partners and influencers to build authentic experiences for our consumers.
Ideal Candidate should bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
- 8+ years of experience in brand marketing or related experience with a deep understanding
- Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of sports, culture, fashion, trends.
- Extensive knowledge of the training scene.
- Digital first mindset with strong initiative and curiosity to cultivate innovation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment.
- Stellar organization skills: multi-tasking, ability to prioritise and work in parallel on several workstreams and meet deadlines
- Ability to absorb a high amount of detailed information, summarize it, and present in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives; switching from strategic thinking to hands-on approach depending on business needs.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role you will report directly into the Running & Training Brand Director. The role partners with Brand Marketing, Communications Teams, APLA Marketing, Sportsmarketing, Brand Creative, Integrated Media and External Partners (Creators, Agencies, Platforms).
