WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

The Gaming Partnerships team is a new and evolving offense at Nike, focused on breaking new ground in consumer engagement through the world of gaming. This team works cross-functionally with Brand, Category, Merchandising, and Licensing partners, while collaborating closely with external gaming platforms and strategic partners to unlock scalable digital IP and deepen youth connection globally. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Virtual Product Manager with a deep understanding of Nike’s product and brand portfolio and a strong passion for the gaming industry. This individual brings retail merchandising and assortment planning expertise, paired with the ability to translate physical products into compelling virtual experiences across gaming platforms. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, excel at cross-functional collaboration, and are energized by building structure in emerging spaces. 

You bring strong problem-solving skills, an eye for product storytelling, and the ability to connect brand, category, and consumer insights into cohesive virtual product strategies. You thrive in a fast-moving, partner-driven environment and are equally effective working internally and externally. 


Required Qualifications 

  • 4–6 years of experience in retail merchandising and assortment strategy 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training 

  • Intimate knowledge of and passion for the video game industry 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects 

  • Strong knowledge of sneaker and streetwear trends 

 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 

You will help shape Nike’s virtual product strategy within gaming by curating and translating physical products into dynamic in-game assortments that support brand storytelling, partner needs, and consumer engagement. 

  • Support the virtual product strategy for Nike in video games by curating past, present, and future product integrations into a dynamic in-game portfolio 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand and Category teams to ensure virtual product plans align with partner objectives and business priorities 

  • Coordinate across product types (Footwear, Apparel, Accessories) and brands (Nike, Jordan, Converse) to ensure cohesive assortment planning 

  • Participate in key product, merchandising, and brand seasonal gates to align on virtual adoption opportunities 

  • Partner closely with gaming partners to drive and execute assortment plans 

  • Support special gaming projects in collaboration with internal teams 

  • Navigate ambiguity by creating structure, processes, and clarity in a rapidly evolving space
