WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Lead, Wholesale Planning WE to join the Converse Western European Marketplace Planning team.
This data minded role is responsible for planning a portfolio of strategic accounts in our wholesale business, collaborates with x-functional stakeholders to forecast and predict consumer demand, partner to create product, marketplace, and inventory plans, drive clarity to our results, and partner with analytics teams to drive data strategies that service the needs of our marketplace.
You will embed retail sales & inventory management principles across our key commercial moments (e.g. financial planning, seasonal product sell in, in season business / consumer information analysis and product distribution) while recommending action steps and influencing key processes in each phase.
This role requires you to be agile and roll-up your sleeves. You have a passion for data and can identify trends and synthesize data into key highlights and action plans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about evolving the business forward, expanding & building cross-functional partnerships, and thrive in a dynamic & fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working across the Western Europe geography to elevate the forecasting process and lead the daily business management to increase profitability within the financial & inventory targets.
- Lead seasonal product and business plan development for a portfolio of strategic wholesale accounts. Build forecasts by season and merchandise product category.
- Lead both Assortment Planning (AP) and Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) exercises for a portfolio of accounts and/or banners.
- Lead, prepare, and present current business in comparison to trend, plan, and forecast for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

- Analyze and identify risks and opportunities to adapt to the current business and provide insights to tailor future assortments and buy placements
- Actively engage with team members to identify opportunities and efficiencies within our business processes
- Drive cross-channel collaboration within the integrated marketplace to enhance profitability through shared inventory strategies
- Partner across multiple levels within Commercial, Planning, and Merchandising teams across the seasonal planning process.
- Partner with Analytics team to create reporting & tools to provide visibility and improve operational performance
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Director, Marketplace Planning, Wholesale in Western Europe. This role will heavily collaborate across the Westen Europe team to drive & optimize the current business.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Extensive experience in planning (i.e. merchandise planning, retail planning, digital planning, or business planning)
- Experience and understanding of wholesale business is a plus
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once and ability to manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership behaviors required in:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across diverse audiences
