WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will be reporting to the Senior Director, GPS APAC based in Singapore and represent the APAC team. The role will work closely with the members of the GPS APAC Leadership team, members of the broader GPS teams, key country stakeholders, teammates in the GPS locations around world and engagements across Nike’s global functions such as Procurement, Communications and Technology.
This role will partner with a large, diverse team of Nike employees both in person and remote, as well as engagements with outside suppliers and vendors.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Manager, GPS India who will lead end-to-end Operations across India. This role will oversee the development of the vision, strategy and planning of India Operational execution with cross functional teams to implement standards and processes; operationalize tools, capture metrics and measure KPI’s connected to GPS’s strategy. Given this remit, it is beneficial for the candidate to have experience in managing regional / remote teams with the ability to think strategically, develop strategic plans, relationships and stewarding an enterprise approach. A strong candidate will be an expert in workplace strategy, leader in operations, proven track record in strategic partner execution & a highly skilled team leader. The candidate must also have highly effective communication skills and transformative problem-solving skills, with talent for orchestrating and directing strategy implementation.
The candidate is expected to adhere to “Win as One Team” and a “pro-active service delivery” culture.
Experience in managing international / regional remote teams.
A facility management expert, with a solid understanding of current trends.
Minimum 7 years direct relevant work experience with progressive leadership responsibilities in facility management with bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or combination of relevant education, experience.
Leadership and managerial experience that allow the leader to provide strategic direction
Motivate and develop complex teams in diverse contexts.
Proven strategic leadership in developing and elevating third party partnerships
Matrix organization management to better understand Nike business drivers and culture
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and operationalize complex programs to meet commitments that are aligned with organizational goals in a dynamic, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, highly developed communication in verbal and written and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with GPS and other key Nike partners
Proven contracting, financial evaluation and program management skills and budget management and stakeholder engagements
A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external partners with cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working closely with Nike leaders around the world to translate GPS’s business strategies to how it applies to Operations across Nike locations. You will work on strategy creation and implementation, project scope, roadmaps, tiers, and service delivery levels. You will partner with the Sub-Node teams on defined processes, standards, tools metrics and KPI’s. Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:
Serve as the main point of contact for operations strategy & execution questions from the broader teams.
Lead, develop and maintain relationships with Nike stakeholders and partners
Lead and manage in-country leads and teams, guiding and supporting local teams to deliver end-to-end, leveraging processes and tools defined globally.
Activate workplace solutions and global performance standards implementation through service partners.
Maintain and develop a playbook & framework / delivery model to ensure workplace operations and service programming reflects GPS & Enterprise strategy.
Lead India strategy across the GPS Capabilities, working with COE to inform capital and AOP budgets.
Financial Management:
Regional leadership and end-to-end executional accountability, monitoring the in-country leads and teams to measure effectiveness and success as well as oversee and manage operational budgets.
Presentations:
Utilizes computer skills to create high quality graphic and text presentations often under tight timeframes. Interprets needs, determine and produce effective presentation layout, and organizes final documents.
Prepares special reports requiring the selection of relevant information from a variety of sources.
Maintains and updates on-going reports or databases.
