This role is a key enabler of Nike’s brand offense in Italy - shaping how the marketing organization plans, operates, and delivers work that inspires the next generation of athletes and moves the marketplace.
 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
 

You’ll join the Italy Marketing Leadership Team and report directly to the Senior Director, Marketing, Italy. You’ll partner closely with the EMEA Marketing Ops & Planning team and collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance and key business partners across the Italian marketing organization. You’ll also lead an Associate and build strong relationships across the team to enable high‑quality, high‑impact work.

You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience operating within a complex marketing organization, with the ability to connect functions, influence senior partners, and drive integrated planning.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capability, enabling you to translate consumer, business, and marketplace insights into clear priorities and operational plans.
  • Proven leadership in budget ownership and scenario planning, including AOP, in‑year budget management, and cross‑functional alignment with Finance.
  • A track record of building and optimizing processes that improve team efficiency, clarity, and ways of working at scale.
  • Experience leading and developing talent, creating an environment where teams feel supported, empowered, and connected.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly, balancing long‑term planning with fast‑moving consumer and organizational needs.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
     

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
 

As Manager, Marketing Operations, Italy, you’ll ensure the team operates with clarity, efficiency, and alignment to the Brand plan. You’ll drive prioritization, planning, and process optimization, while also helping shape a positive, connected team culture.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enabling prioritization and scenario planning to bring the Brand plan to life.
  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Director in cultivating team culture and engagement.
  • Partnering with EMEA Marketing Ops & Planning to align on concept map updates and key strategic topics.
  • Leading AOP and in‑year budget management in close collaboration with Finance.
  • Driving operational excellence across the Italy marketing team, ensuring clarity of roles, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Supporting measurement and reporting rhythms to help the team track progress, identify opportunities, and celebrate wins.
