As the VISUAL MERCHANDISING. NVS CONCEPT MANAGER for Greater China, responsible for:

  • spearheaded the development and execution of holistic visual merchandising & styling strategies to elevate in-store consumer experience across Greater China.
  • Served as the concept lead for Nike Value Store (NVS) initiative, driving cross-functional integration to establish scalable and sustainable retail programs.
  • Ensured premium brand storytelling through visual presentation, collaborated closely with city cluster concept windows and RBC teams to drive concept excellence with agile feedback loops.
  • Maintained deep market connectivity to capture consumer insights, retail trends, and competitive dynamics, ensuring data-driven and relevant concept innovation.
  • Coached, mentored, and led a team of regional supervisors, focusing on talent development and career growth; applied Nike’s Leadership Defined framework to set impactful goals that drive personal, team, and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developed long- and short-term visual merchandising and styling strategies aligned with the NVS concept to realize the marketplace vision.
  • Built cross-functional frameworks, plans, and tools tailored to the NVS concept for scalable execution across Greater China.
  • Partnered closely with merchandising teams to align assortment strategies with visual storytelling and retail concepts.
  • Led reset and pilot initiatives for the NVS concept through consumer-driven visual merchandising and styling enhancements.
  • Redefined team structure and responsibilities based on capabilities and strategic priorities to optimize performance.
  • Set the future vision for the NVS Retail Lab, driving innovative product and consumer experiences that support seasonal planning and city cluster needs.
  • Established streamlined workflows across functions to ensure efficient and aligned execution.
  • Delivered seasonal VM concept direction for NVS, continuously optimizing to meet business objectives (BIZ).
  • Spearheaded the CLC project kick-off, zoning reviews, and provided expert VM insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborated with city cluster and RBC teams to ensure accurate concept implementation in key doors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typically requires a 4-year college degree
  • At least two years of leadership experience in Visual Merchandising within a retail urban environment.
  • At least two years of experience in strategic team organization and management within a VM headquarters function, driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence.
  • Proficient in English communication, with CET-6 or equivalent level recommended as a standard for assessment.
  • Experience leading high performing teams and managing cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and compelling presentation skills.
  • Agile, flexible and creative thinker.
  • Typical office job with no special physical requirements
  • Some travel required for market visits and select door opening setup.
  • Good commend of written and oral.
