WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll lead a team of talented software engineers focused on delivering scalable, high-impact solutions across Nike’s product and consumer platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, architects, data scientists, and cross-functional engineering teams across the globe. You’ll also partner with leaders in CP&I to align engineering efforts with Nike’s strategic goals, while mentoring and growing the next generation of engineering talent.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a seasoned engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You bring:
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in modern backend and/or frontend technologies
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Will accept any combination of education, experience and training.
4+ years of experience leading engineering teams, with a strong track record of mentorship, team development, hiring and software delivery
Expertise in at least one or more cloud platforms like AWS and in at least one or more software programming languages such as Typescript, Python, React and Node
Proven track record of successful software execution and delivery
Positivity, growth mindset and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture
A passion for clean architecture, scalable systems, and continuous improvements
Experience working in agile environments and driving engineering best practices
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineering Manager in CP&I, you will:
Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining critical services and platforms.
Drive technical excellence and operational rigor across the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with product and design teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet business and user needs.
Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and performance optimization.
Foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
