WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be a part of Nike’s the larger Global Technology organization, contributing to organization working on Nike’s internal Consumer Product & Innovation tools. You will and report to the Senior Engineering Manager and collaborate closely Manager Director. You will work day-to-day with the team of engineers, product managers, and principal engineers to deliver the team’s Product Manager and Principal Engineers in the organization on software solutions aligned with projects to achieve Nike’s business objectives. You will also partner engage with other Global Technology functions and teams to drive
organizational and technical goals.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking looking for a seasoned thought leader with over 10 years of experience in software engineering who can help, lead, mentor coach, and inspire a team of engineers. The ideal candidate Software Engineers. We want someone with a background in software engineering and someone who has strong expertise a background in Full stack development, modern software delivery practices, and principles/philosophies. The ideal candidate would also have a background in cloud- native architecture. A solid understanding of microservices, API-first and microservice design, and scalable systems is essential..
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be part of a leading a team of engineers building modular, configurable, and API-driven solutions out tooling for our internal Consumer Product & Innovation teams. These solutions team members. We are investing in building modular, configurable and “API-First” capabilities which will power be consumed by modern web applications using build with the latest full stack most recent SPA frameworks. You are expected to help coordinate with other teams and provide guidance and coaching for your team. Your role includes fostering collaboration, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software primary job is to build a collaborative culture on the team and empower your team to solve problems quickly.
Proven Hands-on experience in Full stack with Node and React is essential.
Experience leading engineering teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent similar field or relevant professional experience. in lieu of a degree
10+ years7+ years’ experience in technology & software engineering roles,
Significant experience in software engineering, demonstrable knowledge of the set of roles, skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the software lifecycle.
Experience with a strong Full stack background (front-end frameworks like React/Angular/Vue and back-end technologies such as Node.js, Java, or .NET).
Expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices related tools.
Hands-on experience Experience with AWS services (ECS, platform including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Open search, S3).Elasticsearch, s3
Familiarity with Experience with implementing and integrating AI/ML integration, Machine Learning and related data-driven solutions is a plus preferred.
Strong grasp understanding of architectural design patterns, and computer -science fundamentals, and integration strategies.
Knowledge Must have knowledge and/or Experience of open-source technologies, and impact of make/buy decisions in the area of data movement, enrichment, workflow, orchestration, and content management.
Understanding Must be able to articulate and/or have experience with integration patterns, data movement and enrichment capabilities.
Must have an understanding of enterprise security and privacy requirements associated with the above technologies.
Excellent Proven experience collaborating on latest technologies with Engineers and Architects.
Extensive background in working with business partners
Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
Proven communication, and facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and driving results software development methodology.
Must excel working in fast-paced environments team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
