WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be working with geographically distributed techno-functional teams spread across Nike World Headquarters, Beaverton, Oregon, US and Nike India Technology Center Bengaluru powering Nike’s digital product creation journeys. As part of your daily activities, you will be interacting with highly talented software engineers, product managers, architects, technology and business operations leaders. You will be based out of Nike India Technology Center, Bengaluru.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for self-driven, highly motivated and passionate problem solvers who satisfy the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience with at least 4 years in a team leadership/mentorship role
- Hands-on expertise in Automation Anywhere A360 platform
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise business process automation solutions
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Node.js or Python with proven expertise in enterprise software development
- Understanding of the RPA, process mining and agentic process automation landscape
- Solid experience working with APIs and databases
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern development practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive outcomes
Bonus Points For
- Automation Anywhere A360 Advanced Developer Certification
- Experience with bot migrations across automation platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate
- Prior experience with AWS cloud offerings such as lambdas, EC2, S3, DynamoDB
- Experience in integrating automation solutions with AIML offerings
- Awareness of performance trade-offs and IT/information security governance best practices

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll lead the digital process optimization and automation workflow initiatives for Nike’s Consumer and Product Innovation vertical. You will be responsible for driving the overall team strategy and collaborate closely with other stakeholders to bring alignment with the larger business objectives. Your role would also include to develop and track a comprehensive set of ROI metrics to ensure whether the investments in automation and process optimization are yielding the desired results.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a healthy Automation pipeline (new features & enhancements)
Lead the intake, prioritization, and management of RPA opportunities.
Oversee the entire bot development lifecycle (new features and enhancements), from ideation through deployment, ensuring best practices are followed at each stage.
Establish and enforce governance policies and best practices for bot lifecycle to ensure compliance, scalability, and sustainability.
Evangelize automation
Set the teams’ strategic roadmap
Develop medium to long term financial and resource management plans for the team and ensure operational effectiveness
Establish structures and processes for efficient, compliant operations
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex technical discussions to a non-technical audience
