WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the Nike Direct Stores MSC needs. While being part of the MSC Stores management team, reporting into MSC Supply Chain Stores Director, you will partner closely with Allocation, Sales, Merchandising, Planning and Finance. Besides, you will daily connect with your stores, partners, carrier network and Nike’s logistics functions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the below criteria;
Supply Chain and Retail Experience: Demonstrated relevant and solid experience within Supply Chain and/or Retail related functions, with a consumer-centric mindset. Wide and deep understanding of Supply Chain Management and general retail business knowledge.
Team Management: proven track record of demonstrated robust team management experience, including leading high-performing teams, managing diverse skill sets, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Vision & Leadership: Exceptional vision and leadership capabilities, with the ability to define and articulate a compelling strategy for the team and inspire others to achieve it. Self-starter, with an ambition to drive change.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to decision-making: ability to translate complex supply chain issues into concise insights, sharing information with and influencing senior stakeholder, bringing recommendations and facilitating decision making.
Stakeholder management: established experience in developing excellent working relationships with key partners, bringing the right people together and facilitating leadership decisions.
Process Improvement: Innovative mentality and proven track record in leading and delivering process improvement for the organization.
Analytical skills: strong experience in KPI management, root cause analysis and scenario planning with the ability to translate complex data sets into business insights through visualization (e.g. graphs, tables). Having advanced skills in MS Office (e.g. Excel) and reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau) and ERP Systems (SAP) is preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Manager, Supply Chain Stores, you will:
Provide business and team leadership to fulfil orders for our (Nike Partner) stores serving consumers across EMEA, in close partnership with our European Logistics and Transportation teams
Utilize strong E2E operations, commercial and omnichannel retail management experience to ensure effective KPI focus and business delivery while obsessing our Consumer Promise KPI’s (Service, Convenience, Sustainability and Profitability)
Co-create and lead a robust, agile operating model across the Nike Stores Supply Chain team to optimize Logistics capacity while maximizing service, growth and profitability
Responsible for leading, growing and developing a high performing Stores Supply Chain Operations team that can create the future of the business
Be accountable for the daily operational planning, fulfillment and performance management of Nike Stores orders while obsessing the Consumer Promise.
Provide expert input into creation of the Stores Supply Chain strategy to serve consumers in close collaboration with Planning, Transportation and Distribution teams in ELC.
Be the voice of Supply Chain in Stores x-functional forums to influence plans and decision making. Conversely, own translation and delivery of Stores commercial plans and actions towards Supply Chain teams
Drive service model differentiation aligned with an elevated focus on mutually profitable and efficient operations
Contribute towards the creation, execution and hind sighting of operational plans and Service Proposition for Key Retail Moments
Lead with a continuous improvement mindset to uncover opportunities on operational level and initiate analytical projects and capability development
Lead and grow a team of Sr. Specialists and Specialists across operational squads to serve the growing ND Stores business
