The annual base salary for this position ranges from $119,400.00 in our lowest geographic market to $267,500.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.Information about benefits can be found here.
Manager, Taxonomy and Ontology
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Oversee Nike Enterprise Taxonomy Operations by leading a team of taxonomists/ontologists and driving operational efficiencies to mature operations and scale the delivery of semantic data to the enterprise.
Key Accountabilities:
·Manage and lead a team of taxonomists/ontologists.
·Train and guide team members, stakeholders, and partners on taxonomy & ontology best practices and standards.
·Oversee the day to day operations of enterprise taxonomy at Nike including taxonomy creation, maintenance and syndication.
·Lead ongoing operational efficiencies to mature taxonomy operations and scale the delivery of taxonomy to the enterprise.
·Establish taxonomy metrics program to support the continuous monitoring of existing semantic models to ensure maximum value to the business.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
· A minimum Bachelor degree and 5-7 years experience working as a taxonomy manager or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
·Deep experience with taxonomy & ontology operations and the delivery of semantic data to the enterprise.
·Experience working with cross functional teams in complex data environments to deliver business value.
·Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities and prioritize unplanned and planned work
·Experience working with cross functional teams to deliver semantic data.
