WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within the Milan Marketing team and partners closely with Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Marketplace Planning, Store Teams, and cross‑functional partners across Europe. The work spans Nike Stores, Partner doors, community partners, and city cultural connectors to bring sport and creativity to life in Milan.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for curious, energetic marketeers who connect with sport, culture, and the creative pulse of Italy—anchored in Milan and extending across the nation’s key cities and cultural hubs. You bring a fresh point of view and enjoy shaping ideas from concept to execution. You’re hands‑on, collaborative, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across categories such as Running, Training, Football, and sport-led lifestyle moments.

You understand how brand storytelling connects to local culture and how retail execution shapes the consumer journey. You can zoom into details while still keeping the bigger strategic picture in mind. You’re motivated to learn, open to new tools (including data and AI), and energized by working with stores, stakeholders, and local communities.

You bring:

  • A strong affinity for sport, culture, fashion, and the creative identity of Milan

  • Curiosity, collaboration skills, and a positive, driven mindset

  • Ability to balance detail orientation with strategic thinking

  • Comfort working across Brand and Retail environments

  • Interest in data, insights, and emerging marketing tools

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will support the delivery of Milan’s Brand and Retail Marketing plans, shaping concepts, activating sport moments, and ensuring Nike shows up powerfully across the marketplace. You’ll contribute to brand storytelling, seasonal executions, in-store activations, and marketplace insights—across one of two roles:

INTERNSHIP — BRAND MARKETING

  • Support concepting and development of city-led and global brand campaigns

  • Translate global concepts into locally relevant storytelling for Milan consumers

  • Connect cultural and community insights to brand and product moments

  • Partner with Brand Managers across Running, Training, Energy & Sportswear

  • Bring fresh creative viewpoints informed by data, insights, and AI tools

INTERNSHIP — RETAIL MARKETING

  • Maintain store-by-store visibility across Milan/Italy to understand in-moment execution

  • Support last-mile retail brand execution across Nike and Partner doors

  • Gather and elevate consumer journey insights back to EHQ and cross-functional teams

  • Drive in-store activations (e.g., Running product trials, community sport experiences)

  • Collaborate with EMEA, local store & Marketplace teams

To be eligible, you must:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion, Design, Communications, Digital Media, Music, or a related field.

  • Be available for a 6‑month full‑time internship (with a possibility to extend to 12 months) and able to work on-site at our Milan office at least 3 days per week.
