A background in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is a plus .
A proactive self-starter with a creative flair and an in depth understanding of the Gen Z consumer .
Must be organized, communicative, and driven to support team goals.
Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) .
Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related to Marketing are a plus (please include in your CV) .
A passion for the Nike brand and an active interest in sports, fitness, or movement—whether through participating, watching, or simply staying active.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST
Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution) .
Be available for a 6-month fulltime (40h/weekly) internship starting February 1st, 2026 .
Be able to work in a hybrid model: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office at our Nike EHQ Campus, Colosseum 1, 1213 Hilversum (NL)
You are currently enrolled in a full-time study program at a Dutch university (HBO or WO level), regardless of your nationality.
You hold EU/EEA citizenship and are enrolled in a university outside the Netherlands.
Please note: Due to legal and immigration requirements, we cannot offer internships to non-EU/EEA students who are not currently enrolled in a Dutch HBO or WO level, in the Netherlands.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Brand Marketing
The Brand Marketing team plays a crucial role in shaping and promoting the brand’s image and identity. This team is responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that resonate with consumers and enhance Nike’s presence in the market
Retail Marketing (Digital)
The Digital Marketing team develops and executes marketing strategies to drive online traffic and engagement through integrated marketing plans, omnichannel marketing consumer engagement, and staying updated with industry trends
Retail Marketing (Store)
The Store Marketing team focuses on enhancing the in-store experience and driving foot traffic by creating in-store campaigns, collaborating on visual merchandising, organizing local events, and working with various teams to support store performance
Marketing Operations
The Marketing Operations team ensures the seamless execution of marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels by driving strategic capabilities, operational excellence and supporting cross-functional teams
Sports Marketing
The Sports Marketing team leverages partnerships with top athletes, teams, and associations to inspire and engage consumers, driving brand awareness and sales through sports and athlete partnerships
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be an integral part of bringing Nike’s brand and products to life through sports and athlete partnerships. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness and sales. Depending on the position, previous marketing interns have worked on the following:
Collaborated with external partners to launch seasonal initiatives and campaigns across all categories and marketplaces
Developed and supported social media strategies for key online retail partners, driving engagement and brand awareness
Analyzed input from various territories using data tools and campaign reports, generating insights that shaped future marketing decisions.
Planned and implemented campaigns with cross-functional teams, including e-commerce, merchandising and advertising partners.
Supported the development of Athlete Brand Plans and Strategies, playing a key role in Athlete Social Media Plans, Digital Analysis, and Content Reviews.
