WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As the Marketplace Supply Chain Lead, you will leverage your leadership capabilities, cross-functional business acumen, and specialized supply chain knowledge to ensure timely and complete product delivery to consumers. Your responsibilities include driving supply chain efficiency and optimizing order book productivity.
Collaboration with internal Nike partners is essential, including key stakeholders from Sales, Planning, Finance, Integrated Flow Planning (IFP), and Transportation. You will engage with a global and Territory virtual team of supply chain specialists and analysts recognized for their expertise and commitment to excellence.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in supply chain management and planning, complemented by robust analytical abilities and a demonstrated capacity for independent work. This marketplace position focuses on process optimization, operational efficiency, and performance management, leveraging data and advanced analytics to deliver clear insights, alternatives, and recommendations to stakeholders across functions.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, planning or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience, with a focus on marketplace supply chain, transportation, or logistics.
Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and visual communication.
Proven ability to effectively transition between strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation abilities.
Strong at collaborating cross-functionally and cross-culturally, with a particular strength in fostering positive relationships among key stakeholders and team members.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment.
Sound decision-making skills, especially when operating in ambiguous situations.
Familiarity with Nike Sales and Order Management processes is desirable.
Experience with Cognos and SAP is preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform decisions and highlight risks and opportunities. You’ll build scalable solutions—developing playbooks, frameworks, and toolkits that streamline operations across APLA Territories. Your work will include leading cross-functional initiatives across GEO and Territory with partners in Sales, Logistics, Planning, and Finance, while optimizing processes through automation and simplification. You’ll drive measurable improvements in speed, cost, and service, and influence outcomes through strong stakeholder alignment and compelling storytelling.
Turn data into decisions. You will be responsible for translating complex data into clear recommendations, to surface risks, opportunities, actions and tradeoffs.
Develop scalable solutions and optimize operations. You will spend time creating playbooks, frameworks, and toolkits that scale quickly across Territories in alignment with cross-functional partners when applicable.
Support cross-functional projects in service of APLA’s Territories. You will be driving the end-to-end planning and execution with your cross-functional stakeholders. Like Sales, Merchandising, Planning and Finance; managing milestones, risks/issues, and change, when applicable.
Process Optimization. Simplify processes and identify automation opportunities to improve operational excellence that improve speed, cost, and service, with measurable outcomes; capture learnings and standardize best practices.
Stakeholder management: Align diverse partners, gain buying, and influence without authority through crisp storytelling and structured forums.
