WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of Nike’s Materials Manufacturing team, a critical engine inside the unified Material Supply Chain organization. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Materials Manufacturing, based in Beaverton, Oregon, and works closely with teammates at the Nike World Headquarters and global Materials Manufacturing partners in Asia. You’ll collaborate daily with Materials Planning, Costing, Sourcing, Product Development, Apparel Supply Chain, and Sustainability teams, while serving as the primary connection to external material vendors.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This person thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments and brings a strong balance of analytical rigor and relationship-building skills. They communicate with purpose, tailor messages to diverse audiences, and move seamlessly between strategic priorities and hands-on execution. Comfort working with external vendors is essential, as this role owns day-to-day manufacturing performance from development through delivery. A curiosity for continuous improvement, sustainability, and new ways of working— including the use of data, reporting tools, and emerging technologies—will set this candidate apart. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems decisively, and helps elevate how Nike brings materials to life at scale.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in materials manufacturing, supply chain, or product development
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Experience in apparel or accessories manufacturing and supply chain (textiles, trims, packaging, garments) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to travel up to 10%; Spanish language skills are a plus

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll drive materials manufacturing excellence by partnering closely with vendors and internal teams to deliver on cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability goals. Your work will balance seasonal execution with long-term initiatives that strengthen Nike’s materials supply chain.

  • Lead materials manufacturing priorities from development through production and delivery with external vendors
  • Own vendor performance across costing, on-time delivery, quality, and sustainability metrics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, issue resolution, and escalation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Materials, Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting on delivery and cost performance using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Support seasonal execution while contributing to longer-term materials and supply chain initiatives
