  • A background in Business, Fashion Management, Product Management, Operations, Marketing or a related field is a plus   

  • Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills  

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational awareness skills  

  • Bold, autonomous and information seeking attitude  

  • Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related to Business or Fashion are a plus (please include in your CV)  

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple partners  

  • A passion for the Nike brand and an active interest in sports, fitness, or movement—whether through participating, watching, or simply staying active. 
     

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST 

  • Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)  

  • Be available for a 6-month full-time (40h/weekly) internship starting February 1st, 2026 

  • Be able to work in a hybrid model: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office at our Nike EHQ Campus, Colosseum 1, 1213 Hilversum (NL)  

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time study program at a Dutch university (HBO or WO level), regardless of your nationality.  

  • You hold EU/EEA citizenship and are enrolled in a university outside the Netherlands.  

  

Please note: Due to legal and immigration requirements, we cannot offer internships to non-EU/EEA students who are not currently enrolled in a Dutch HBO or WO level, in the Netherlands. 

 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

WE HAVE MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE ACROSS  

  • Nike/Converse/Jordan Merchandising 

Developing and executing product assortment strategies that drive sales and revenue growth across Nike Inc’s key markets. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

As a Merchandising Intern, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth and informing merchandising decisions for Nike, Jordan or Converse. Depending on the position, previous merchandising interns have worked on:   

  • Managing product information and maintaining data throughout the season to ensure accurate and up-to-date product knowledge  

  • Conducting consumer and marketplace research to gather insights and inform merchandising decisions  

  • Analyzing data to support business decisions and drive sales growth  

  • Building product assortments and presenting them to the Sales department to drive business results  

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Digital Direct, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management, to deliver consumer-right assortments and drive business success  

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE 

  • Curated intern program designed to develop your business acumen, build your network and grow yourself. 

  • Exposure to senior leadership, educational workshops and networking events.  

  • Social & sporting events with an intern cohort of approximately 50 students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
