Overview of the Job:

  • The role is responsible for setting merchandising strategy, bringing end to end product insight with global and geo counterparts, as well as product sell-in to retailers. Serve GC consumers with the most relevant products to enable Nike’s vision and drive sustainable growth. 

  • Focus on Sportswear Footwear.

Reporting Line:

  • Direct report to Manager, Merchandising, NSP Sportswear Footwear GC

Key Partnership:

  • Consumer merch

  • Assortment planning

  • SSD

  • VMS

  • Account sales / Sell-in & Sell-through

Job Responsibility:

  • Build product assortment for retail concepts in a consumer-centric way.

  • Delivers robust product sell-in to retailers, including sell-in tools preparation, product presentation & sample setup, etc.

  • Explores consumer insights & marketplace trend through creative ways to make art/science balanced assortment decision.

  • Drives in-season product management based on solid weekly sales analysis & consumer insights from retail stores.

  • Evolves store product assortment strategy innovatively based on the fast-changing consumer demand & dynamic marketplace.

  • Coordinate cross Sport assigned project process and deliverables.

Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):

  • GC Consumer and marketplace knowledge

  • Merchandising / buying experience in retail industry

  • Fluent in English

  • Retail and financial acumen

  • Office tools

Experience Required (Soft skills):

  • Demonstrate Brand Passion

  • Strong sense of responsibility- deliver high profile x-functional communication
