WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of the South East Asia and India (SEA&I) Merchandising team, working in close partnership with the Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) Merchandising team to deliver the right assortment to the marketplace. Collaboration is key—you’ll engage with cross-functional partners including Sales, Business Leads, Planning, and Marketing to ensure seamless seasonal execution.

Nike is looking for a Merchant II, Sport to join the SEA&I Merchandising team, based in Singapore. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep merchandising expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and clear communication skills. You bring a collaborative mindset, thrive in dynamic environments, and lead with courage and trust. You embrace change, value diverse perspectives, and foster inclusive teamwork to drive impactful results.

This role empowers the merchandiser to shape the sports category vision—making strategic decisions that elevate consumer experiences and fuel growth. The ability to translate insights into action is essential to delivering relevant, high-performing assortments across diverse channels.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Merchandising and Category Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

  • Proven product merchandising expertise and strong business acumen.

  • Proficiency in retail math, marketplace insights, consumer behavior, and assortment strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll build sport category assortments that align APLA direction with localized strategies rooted in market insights and consumer needs. You’ll be the voice of the athlete, ensuring every product resonates across channels and delivers value.

  • Develop seasonal assortments tailored to local market dynamics and consumer demand.

  • Deliver sharp consumer insights to shape product strategy and enhance assortment relevance.

  • Collaborate with APLA Merchandising to share feedback, product requests, and competitive intelligence.

  • Analyze silhouette and franchise mix, pricing architecture, and competitive landscape.

  • Present go-to-market strategies and assortment plans to cross-functional teams for alignment and execution.

  • Translate product performance data into actionable insights for future planning.

  • Champion consumer-first thinking across all merchandising decisions.
