Merchant II, Womens Running: We are seeking a Merchant who is focused on driving the future of Nike Womens Running Apparel and Footwear. With a passion for Running and our consumer, this person will be able to manage multiple stakeholder relationships, have well developed planning and organization skills, and hold the capability to work within multiple seasons, against numerous deadlines. Supporting the creation of line plans and assortments, the Merchant will be hands on in visualizing assortments both digitally and physically, whilst maintaining and updating data and tools, to ensure accuracy, and optimize our impact.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will enable the strategizing, building, and managing of global 3-year line plans and product journeys cross-functionally.

A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll partner with several cross-functional teams – consumer planning, product creation, GEO merch, and consumer insights & analytics as well as the gender merchandising teams. A key enabler of your success will be your background and experience in retail.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a combination of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Running consumer and marketplace
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas
  • Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
  • Team first mentality, energy giver
