Who are we looking for?
Nike seeks a Retail Production Specialist to support the North America Brand Creative Retail Production team, specifically supporting non-seasonal store openings, refreshes and remodels. The Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-to-end retail production for our consumer across the full studio with an emphasis on retail production (sourcing, permitting, construction, fabrication, installation, etc.), delivering efficiently and according to Nike’s daily long-term business and marketing objectives.
The Specialist is highly organized, results driven, and hungry to learn. A strong communicator, with an appetite for new technology platforms and information efficiencies, liaising cross-functionally within retail brand marketing, visual merchandising and styling, real estate and construction, and store concepts development to support an organized, efficient and successful retail production process. They are problem-solvers, forward-thinkers and creative partners, always improving retail production to effectively execute the creative strategy of North America Brand Creative Retail.
What will you work on?
As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the production team across retail design and experience execution in partnership with Retail Design, Retail Marketing including Retail Brand Management and Visual Merchandising and Styling, Nike Direct Concepts Development, Construction, and other cross-functional Nike teams. You will support creative partner outreach and negotiations, budget management and accruals, contract execution in partnership with Nike Legal and Business Affairs, and take on introductory level production responsibilities. When permitted you may be on location to support the lead producer on any number of on set production responsibilities.
Who will you work with?
You will report directly to the Sr. Retail Design Operations Manager and you will support the Brand Design Retail Studio Production team, across creative and experiences. You will partner closely with your Creative and Brand counterparts so that work is organized seamlessly for successful productions. You will also work closely with key business functions such as Finance, Legal, BA, and Procurement. In addition, you’ll be a trusted partner to Retail functions when these teams are engaged for specific productions.
What you bring:
Knowledge of Retail Production, inclusive of retail construction, fabrication, execution and installations.
A committed personal passion for seeing ideas come to life and a desire to grow in the production space.
Experience in contract negotiation
Experience in budget planning, management and reconciliation
Ability to organize and support various teams to a successful outcome
Ability to establish good relationships within the creative and production industry
A strong ability to solve problems and solutions-oriented attitude
1-3 years in fields directly related to production and creative project management
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
