The annual base salary for this position ranges from $77,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $174,000.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will serve on the NA Direct Business Operations team, reporting directly to the Training and Onboarding Manager for the Northeast territory. As a member of the Training and Onboarding team, you will work closely in partnership with Territory Operations, Firstline Programs, EKINs, the Retail Field Leadership Team, and Store Operations and Services, as well as with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Global Stores Training and Services, Channel Teams, Retail Loss Prevention and Human Resources).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced trainer with skills in training, coaching and developing retail leaders and store teams. In this role, you will deliver education to our retail leaders through engaging, multi-modality training plans and programs. You will foster impactful cross-functional relationships and implement training strategies as a part of business operations and projects.

  • 3+ years retail leadership experience, including 2 years in training and facilitation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in presenting or facilitating content, both in-person and virtually (e.g., Zoom).
  • Proficiency with Airtable and Keynote and/or PowerPoint preferred.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexible schedule based on retail and business needs – ability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to Nike retail stores and meetings across all North America.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Our retail Firstline teammates are the first point of contact between athletes* and Nike. As an NAX trainer, you will facilitate training to our Firstline teammates to develop their service, selling, leadership and retail business skills. You will play a meaningful role in ensuring the success of the team, the business, and the brand.

As an NAX Trainer, you will:

  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to multi-unit leaders, store leaders and athletes on various Global and NA training priorities.
  • Proactively seek insights and trends around skill gaps and work with Training and Onboarding leaders on strategies to fill these training needs.
  • Apply the train-the-trainer approach to prepare multi-unit leaders and store leadership to drive ongoing learning on subjects ranging from service and selling to career development and growth.
  • Coordinate and implement leadership and athlete onboarding for new store openings and conversions.
