WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Southeast Asia & India (SEAI) Analytics team sits at the center of Nike’s marketplace decision-making. This team delivers action-oriented insights across Nike Digital, Nike Stores, and Wholesale Partners. The role reports to the Senior Manager of SEAI Marketplace Analytics and partners closely with Marketplace, Planning, Finance, Strategy, and Global Enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Science teams across Asia Pacific, Latin America, and beyond.

Nike is looking for a seasoned digital analytics team member who brings authority, curiosity, and clarity to complex problems. This person thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and storytelling - translating advanced analytics into insights that shape decisions and drive growth. They anticipate questions before they’re asked and influence outcomes through sharp thinking and persuasive communication.
They are a champion of analytics and applied data science, using creative quantitative methods to unlock opportunity across a fast-moving, omnichannel retail landscape. With deep knowledge of consumer and marketplace dynamics, they act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders. They elevate teams by making the complex simple and the strategic actionable, always pushing for better answers and bolder thinking.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, applied data science, economics, or related fields.
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Experience working in direct-to-consumer and retail environments, with a deep understanding of eCommerce
- Strong influencing and executive communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, cloud-based platforms (such as Databricks), data visualization tools (such as Tableau), and scripting languages including R or Python.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll turn complex data into clear direction. Sitting close to the business, you’ll shape strategy through insights that move teams from understanding to action across Nike’s Southeast Asia & India marketplace.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, correlations and actionable insights using statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques.
- Define and monitor KPIs, use root cause analysis to diagnose changes in trends, and causal inference techniques to optimize marketplace, marketing, product, and operational strategies.
- Build and maintain time-series forecast models to influence Planning function’s business plans and Finance function’s financial forecast.
- Act as an ongoing thought partner and strategic advisor to stakeholders to ensure insights are being interpreted and effectively applied.
- Collaborate with Marketplace, Strategy, Finance, and their cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Craft presentations and reports that distill complex analyses into compelling narratives for stakeholders, across various levels of leadership.
