This individual brings deep technical textiles expertise, strong influencing skills, and a passion for building supplier capabilities, driving quality governance, and delivering scalable manufacturing excellence.

The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and is comfortable leading through influence across internal and external partners. They bring strong textile engineering fundamentals, disciplined problem-solving, color manufacturing experience and a proven ability to improve quality outcomes through standards, systems, processes, data, and supplier engagement.

The candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Materials Science, Quality Management, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • Strong knowledge of apparel construction, color manufacturing, textile manufacturing processes, quality systems, testing methodology, inspection strategy, root cause analysis and corrective action management.

  • Experience supporting supplier quality programs, manufacturing readiness, quality governance, risk management, continuous improvement, quality data or high-visibility product execution.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners while maintaining clear quality governance and accountability.

  • Ability to work in Beaverton, OR.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience supporting apparel and textiles manufacturing, supplier quality, or production readiness work in the Americas region.

  • Experience with quality governance systems, risk management frameworks, continuous improvement methodology, and quality KPI management.

  • Experience using production quality data, dashboards, or analytics to improve visibility, support decision-making, and prioritize risk mitigation.

  • Experience supporting high-visibility product categories, professional sport partnerships, team product, or global event product where quality risk carries elevated consumer, athlete, partner, and brand impact.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead Product Integrity's apparel quality engineering work across the Americas, enabling faster regional execution, strengthening supplier quality readiness, and supporting proactive governance as local manufacturing continues to expand. You will connect Nike's standards, tools, assessments, methodologies, and data discipline to consistent supplier execution and measurable quality outcomes.

This role is designed to strengthen Nike's Americas manufacturing strategy by ensuring Product Integrity capabilities are translated into supplier execution, adoption, and measurable outcomes. The role provides dedicated regional quality textile engineering leadership for supplier engagement, manufacturing readiness, production governance, material and color quality risk mitigation, and high-visibility product execution.

  • Lead apparel quality engineering strategy and execution across Nike's Americas manufacturing network, with focus on material supplier readiness, production quality, and risk prevention.

  • Deploy and operationalize Product Integrity standards, assessments, tools, governance processes, inspection strategies, and quality methodologies with regional suppliers.

  • Drive supplier capability development and sustainable quality performance improvements through technical leadership, structured problem solving, and disciplined follow-through.

  • Partner with Product Creation, Supplier and Partner Management, Sourcing and Material Quality Engineering teams to identify and mitigate risk before it impacts production or consumers.

  • Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs, production data discipline, governance routines, and reporting mechanisms that increase visibility and support better business decisions.

  • Provide regional technical leadership for high-profile and strategically important programs, including professional sports, team, and global event product, where quality misses carry elevated brand and partner impact.

  • Translate issue data and trends into insights that inform business decisions and prevent repeat failures.
