WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Brand Lead for Global Jordan Sport to join our Beaverton-based team. You’ll help create the future of sport which includes Basketball, Football, Baseball and Soccer serving consumers across the Globe.  Additionally, the candidate should have a nuanced expertise of basketball and its culture, and the intersection of sport, streetwear, and energy is a requirement. 

As part of our Global Sport Brand team, the Sport Brand Lead will be responsible for managing our brand plans and driving functional excellence within the Global Marketing    team. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Sport, this role will deliver brand plans that grow the business while creating deeper, lasting relationships with male and female athletes*.

The candidate should have comprehensive grasp of the sport landscape along with the ability to lead multiple projects and build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization. They should bring a strong digital skillset in the heart of their experiences and an understanding of all functions of marketing.

They should be comfortable with ambiguity and be ready to dig in, work collaboratively and bring a positive attitude always.

They should be solution oriented, a team first collaborator, energy giver, strategic vision and digital thinking, passionate about sport, empathetic and curious to learn

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will partner with our Global Brand Director and marketing leaders to lead our brand and athlete marketing plans and key consumer concepts including marketing briefs, strategic tools and marketing initiatives that fuel our seasonal initiatives and long-term consumer concepts.

You will work across global and geo to drive a robust concept map and continually build new consumer experiences that accelerate brand and business growth opportunities internally and externally.

As the Global Sport Lead, you will:

_Be tasked to support bringing the Global Sport Consumer plan to life.

_Support development of annual and seasonal marketing plans.

_Support an end-to-end process to gain insight from consumers including cultural trends.

_Manage collaboration throughout the Consumer Code process to engage with our key cross-functional and cross-dimensional partners.

_Oversee product integration into seasonal programming.

_Manage asset development and distribution across multiple channels.

_Manage campaign progress measurement. Recapping + teardowns.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As the Global Sport Brand Lead, you will report directly into the Global Brand Director of Sport. 

You will work within a team of Global Brand Management Directors, Managers and Specialists to build and plan marketing programs that drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand and build our connection with consumers.

You will collaborate with teammates across Jordan Brand to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with Sport athletes* across the Globe.

WHAT YOU BRING

Qualifications:

_ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

_5+ years of experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and/or digital brand marketing.

_A passion for Jordan Brand and its role in the global cultural landscape.

_Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of Basketball, Basketball culture, fashion, trends and growing the sport across underserved communities.

_Understanding of Football, Baseball and Soccer.

_Expertise and nuanced understanding of Jordan Brand and its role in the cultural landscape.

_Dedication to respect, inclusivity, and valuing different perspectives.

_Strong written and verbal communication skills.

_Experience working within teams and a team-first mentality.

_Ability to lead initiatives and project teams.

_Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment.
