The Product Developer PCC will collaborate with Development, Sourcing and Costing, Factory partners, while maintaining the connection with Design, Product Management, Operations to effectively execute on product development deliverables.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a Product Developer PCC who is a project manager and efficient communicator, with eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Serving as the link between EMEA Gel and the factory partners, ensuring timely and clear communication and calendar discipline on both ends.
You will be a self leading, proactive and act as a thought partner for factories and EMEA Gel Product Development and Sourcing & Costing functions. You are a connector and build strong relationships with our factory partners and the x-functional team. You have affinity with calendar management, numbers and negotiations.
Knowledge of product creation systems, processes and factory base are a plus, as is an understanding of the full scope of product creation from design concept to production.

The requirements for this role are:
- Proven experience in calendar/project management. With an emphasis on cost management, negotiation and data management.
- Proven communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
- (PCC) Development experience and knowledge of the apparel industry, which includes the apparel product creation process is a plus.
- Familiarity and knowledge of the garment manufacturing landscape is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in apparel product creation, textile science, business management or related field.
- Two years additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to excel in a deadline driven environment. Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs, PPS and ACS is a plus.
- Ability to travel 5% (domestic and international).
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will work within the EMEA Geo Express Lane Apparel team, managing the styles sourced at our Near Shore factory partners, and supporting our Sr PCC Developer managing the Asia sourced styles. Create and update product creation tracks across Men’s/Women’s and Kids apparel. You will ensure communication of key development tools to factory partners, track samples, CBD, costing and leadtime data entry. You will be responsible for system maintenance, crmds, marker validation, testing follow up and BOM usage. You will raise awareness of potential delays and quality challenges in the process. Ensuring to meet calendar target dates, attend meetings that relate to your product’s development and communicate progress and challenges to your team as needs.
A typical day/week: Ensuring data accuracy in systems PPS and ACS. CBD cost input, Cost checking, usage updating and negotiation. Reviewing and relaying information, comments and question from both factory and EMEA Gel side. Staying connected with the PCC organization is also a key element of the role, ensuring consistency in process and programs. This all while managing multiple seasons and tracks at the same time.
The work can include supporting the near shore development team with setting up and sending out information of carry over product, that is remaining in the line.
