WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a multiple Product Line Manager IIs to join our Global Football Apparel Licensed (Clubs and Federations) team. An ideal PLM II is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive to learn and the ability to adapt quickly. A passion for serving our consumers is a must. We are looking for someone who will partner effectively with diverse teams and can support our team by creatively solving problems.
This role will partner with the overall apparel product creation team, and drive process and strategy for the best Clubs, Federations, and Athletes in the world. These candidates will lead and collaborate with a specialized product team to deliver and showcase the most innovative and high-performance product in the industry for athletes as well as collaborate with local teammates to deliver compelling retail assortments for consumers. Analysis of current business (including bookings and sell-through by channel, country, GEO, style and color, etc.) will be expected.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
This role will play a key role in supporting the Global Football Apparel Licensed (Clubs and Federations) team on all aspects of the product creation process. You’ll be working with the Product Management Team and a cross-functional team (Merchandising, Design and Technical Design) on the product creation process from brief to final product approval. You will ensure the Product Team hits all Game Plan Dates by helping to prepare for meetings (sample set-up, document preparation, managing pre-read documents, recapping meetings, etc.). Clear and accurate communication and data management is critical for this role, including owning communicating changes to the triad and key partners. You will be responsible for sample organization and tracking.
You will manage the product creation workflow through data management and effective collaboration across cross-functional triad partners. You will be delivering on key dates and holding yourself accountable to be a great teammate. Data accuracy in key documents is critical: Visual Line Plans, Sales Tools, Miro Boards, Change Logs.
In addition, you will learn how to analyze various business metrics to help you plan and manage the line with your Product Management team. You will work with the category information analyst to confirm the accuracy of the information in the MMX system (i.e., FOB, landed costs, targeted wholesale prices, forecasted units).
A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of the information in key systems, sample management, participating in and conducting meetings, and providing clear communication to guide cross-functional teams thru critical checkpoints.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role will work intimately with Design, Tech Development, Merchandising, Operations, and Sports Marketing teams to manage the product creation cycle.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
Ability to manage multiple product creation timelines
Passion for or interest in Global Football (Soccer) is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Have a global sense of awareness. (Knowledge of current world events. Respect and appreciation for other cultures)
Strong work ethic; takes the initiative and is proactive
