What are we looking for in an ideal candidate:

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer. This is an individual contributor role and the candidate is expected to coordinates software issues with development and operation resources and supports configuration, security, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Scope and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer I, your primary role on the team will be to contribute to the build, test, deploy, and maintenance of technology solutions. You will work under close direction and work in progress is routinely reviewed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field
• Fluent reading/writing in English
• 1-3+ years of programming experience in one of Java, Python and Node JS
• Able to write clean code, understand the purpose of testing
• Has a good understanding of OOP, design patterns
• Has some understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment is a plus
