We are seeking a high performing Engineer Manager to play a meaningful role in the furthering Nike Greater China’s Discover Capabilities. Lead the team with a focus on Discover to provide Nike’s most passionate members and consumers access to our most coveted products. You will be encouraged to utilize your expertise to influence the broader organization’s strategy regarding bots and fairness!

We are the team that behind Nike’s digital experiences in China like Nike.COM/Nike App/SNKRS/WeChat MP etc. Today, the services we built enables our consumers to search/browse/view Nike’s diverse product catalogs, to discover Nike’s inspiring contents, to connect and engage with the most exciting sports events.

We are building an omni-channel ecommerce solution to reach out to consumers in both digital and real world. We are delivering data as well as multi-media contents to Nike’s consumers with quality speed and accuracy. We are leveraging the most cutting-edge technologies to serve Nike’s consumers and to grow Nike’s business.

Scope and responsibility

As Software Engineer I in the team:

• Build and implement a software system based on given high-level design and requirements, test and verify the solution to make it production ready
• Troubleshoot and investigate root causes of issues in a given system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electric Engineering or other related areas
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java/JavaScript/Node.js/Python/Go
• Fluent Reading/Writing in English
• Solid knowledge about computer networking
• Solid knowledge about software design and development
• Solid knowledge about WEB development concepts
• Knowledge about API design concepts
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS or Hands-on experience with Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
