You will be joining the APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America) Partner Retail Marketing team, developing consumer retail (in-store and digital) plans and execution on the APLA Partner teams for Kids. APLA is an exciting and dynamic geography with a diverse mix of countries, cultures and marketplace nuances across both global and territory accounts.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Our objective on the APLA Retail Marketing team is elevate the marketplace by being the engine of experimentation and growth. This will come through rebuilding brand distinction, creating space for new ideas, elevating the marketplace, and fueling and growing sport culture communities tied to Kids.

 

This person is dynamic and thrives in ambiguity, embraces challenging conversations with external partners (agencies and retailers), and communicates clearly to a broad and diverse audience.

 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

 

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing retail elevation strategies for Nike with our partner retail doors. From working with our Brand Marketing team to determine seasonal priorities, elevating Nike stories with our retail partners, scaling proven concepts, to working with our Visual Merchandising and Partnership Transformation teams, you’ll work cross-functionally to bring the best of Nike to life in our Partner doors:

 

·      Execute retail marketing strategies and execution for the APLA marketplace.

·      Align strategy to Sport Strategy and Priorities with our Territory needs

·      Adopt and adapt retail excellence principles to win with seasonal and seasonless initiatives

·      Deliver clear direction to agency and Territory partners to execute Global Sport Direction

·      Maintain brand standards with our marketplace partners including Sporting Goods, Athletic Specialty, Department Stores, and Sports Specialty.

·      Become the Sport retail expert on marketplace partners to lead the ideation and creation of consumer-right experiences across diverse partner retail environments.

·      Foster a test & learn approach, together with Territory, Sport, and Sales Teams

·      Partner with Nike Direct Retail Marketing to drive a one marketplace approach while adding clear distinction and dimension with each partner.

·      Drive a results-oriented approach for initiatives by ensuring they are focused on the right KPI’s and track/deliver results.

 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

 

·      APLA Retail Marketing: including Partnership Transformation, Visual Merchandising, EKINs, and Operations

·      APLA Territory Retail Marketing: including Partnership Transformation, Visual Merchandising, EKINs, and Operations

·      APLA Kids Brand Marketing

·      APLA Sales and Sport GM’s: including Merchandising, Business, Integration, and Marketplace Supply Chain

·      Global Retail Marketing

·      Partner teams: across marketing, retail, planning, merchandising, and e-commerce.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

 

·      Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

·      3+ years of retail experience

·      Ideally some mid-large fleet, marketplace partner experience

·      A people-first approach that values diverse thought

·      A track record of implementing a test and learn offense

·      Willing problem solver, with an ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution

·      Able to work as part of a matrix, with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally towards a common goal

·      Ability to travel 20%
