WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The EMEA Procurement team drives value creation, operational excellence, supplier performance, and strategic impact across the region. This role reports into the Director, Procurement Innovation & Operations EMEA and partners closely with EMEA Procurement Leadership, Category Teams, Operations, Finance, Global Procurement and key managed service partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a high-caliber strategic operator who can cut through complexity, synthesize large amounts of data and stakeholder input, identify what truly matters, and turn insight into a clear plan that gets executed. The strongest candidate will think like a strategy consultant, deliver like an implementation leader, and operate like a modern business partner.

This is not a role for someone who only reports numbers. It is for someone who can explain what the numbers mean, what needs to change, who needs to act, and how EMEA Procurement can move faster, smarter, and with greater confidence. The ideal candidate is energized by building something better, comfortable in ambiguity, confident challenging assumptions with facts, and skilled at connecting strategy, KPIs, savings, pipeline, spend, supplier performance, Finance validation, operational priorities, and executive storytelling into one coherent performance system.

This person will also play a vital role as EMEA Procurement becomes more integrated with the broader Operations function, helping shape synergies, ways of working, performance visibility, and scalable execution. They should also be AI-literate, curious, and future-focused — able to spot where AI, automation, and analytics can practically improve performance, reporting, productivity, data quality, and decision support.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following fields or functions: strategy consulting, implementation consulting, procurement, finance, business operations, transformation, performance management, analytics.

  • Strong strategic problem-solving ability, with experience structuring ambiguous topics, synthesizing complex data and stakeholder input, and translating insights into clear recommendations, decisions, and execution plans.

  • Proven experience building and managing performance management systems, including KPI frameworks, scorecards, dashboards, QBRs, executive narratives, operating rhythms, governance forums, and leadership decision processes.

  • Strong understanding of procurement value creation, including savings methodology, spend visibility, pipeline discipline, financial impact, and value validation in partnership with Finance.

  • Strong analytical, visualization, and digital fluency, including advanced Excel and experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, ERP/AP data, or similar systems, combined with curiosity and literacy around AI, automation, and emerging analytics trends.

  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ownership mindset, intellectual curiosity, and implementation discipline needed to operate effectively across regional, global, Finance, Operations, and category teams in a matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will build the performance engine for EMEA Procurement. That means creating the visibility, rhythm, insight, governance, and follow-through needed to ensure the team is focused on the right priorities and delivering against its ambition. You will connect data to decisions, decisions to action, and action to measurable impact.

  • Shape and lead the EMEA Procurement performance agenda by building a connected performance management system that links strategy, KPIs, pipeline, savings, spend, supplier performance, operational priorities, and leadership decision-making into one clear view of progress and impact.

  • Translate complex data into strategic direction by synthesizing inputs from Finance, Global Procurement, Operations, Category Teams, sourcing partners, SpendHQ, PPM, and performance dashboards into sharp insights, clear recommendations, and action-oriented leadership narratives.

  • Lead EMEA QBRs as a strategic business review, not a reporting exercise by connecting performance against targets, root causes, risks, opportunities, decisions required, and forward-looking priorities that help leadership focus on what matters most.

  • Drive performance improvement from insight through execution by turning recommendations into clear plans, owners, governance, timelines, and measurable outcomes — ensuring performance management leads to action, not just visibility.

  • Strengthen EMEA’s connection with Finance, Operations, and Global Procurement by improving value credibility, savings methodology, reporting alignment, operational integration, and the flow of regional requirements into global performance processes.

  • Advance EMEA’s data, spend, and analytics maturity by improving spend visibility, data quality, category-level insight, pipeline discipline, and the effective use of tools such as SpendHQ, PPM, dashboards, and future analytics capabilities.

  • Identify where AI and automation can elevate performance management by staying close to emerging trends and translating them into practical use cases that improve reporting, QBR preparation, data synthesis, scenario analysis, productivity, decision support, and overall operating effectiveness.
