As a Lead Professional in Account Management supporting our business, we are looking for a commercially minded account management leader with strong experience in the Fashion, Sports or Retail industry. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics, managing account relationships across buying and merch level. They will have excellent interpersonal skills—both oral and written—strong cross-functional communication skills, and the process and operational capability to drive results. A collaborative team player who can take the lead and foster a strong team dynamic.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will support the day-to-day management of our business as we continue to grow the Converse business in alignment with our integrated marketplace strategy.
As Lead Professional, Account Management for large key accounts, you will build and manage the full account relationship, leading seasonal and yearly account planning, driving sustainable growth, and maximizing business opportunities within Converse's integrated marketplace strategy.
Lead partner plans; build seasonal and yearly account plans.
Leverage the W.E. Converse Corporate Strategy to build a long-term strategic plan for your account base.
Accountable for all elements of account management including Futures and At Once sales, in line with budget and specific order capture deadlines.
Provide account feedback to key stakeholders; consistently develop market knowledge on product trends, pricing, and competition to maximize Converse assortment and sales within the accounts.
Be the thought leader: develop and execute new concepts and ideas to generate revenue streams beneficial for the long term.
Develop accurate and realistic GTM plans, seasonal assortments, forecast and scenario plans; conduct monthly and seasonal business reviews.
Establish and maintain timely, consistent, and positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate across the Converse business with Customer Operations, Business Planning, Go to Market, Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Finance and Commercial teams.
Be the leader, mentor and guidance to the team on matters relating to the account, integrated marketplace and general support to share the best of Converse.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with the cross-function team in retail marketing supply chain operations, the Regional Partner Director, and key stakeholders across the business.
You will also collaborate with the broader Global Growth Team and engage with Global partners(merchandise) on selected topics to support your account.
The role is based in Berlin, Germany, with occasional travel to meet our retail partners.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for Converse brand and culture
Strong account management experience for large key accounts, ideally within the Fashion/ Sports or Retail Industry, across buying and merchandising.
+3 years Sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics
Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of financial processes and forecasting
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Confident with senior leadership engagement internally and externally.
Ability to collaborate in a matrix-oriented environment across various business functions
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Process and operational capability
