WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

We are seeking Merchant II to join the Global Women’s Sport Merchandising team. As a key member of Women’s Sport Merchandising, you will collaborate across the Global Women’s Sport organization to shape the product assortment for Women’s Global Football. This role will deliver against the financial and business objectives of the Women’s Global Football business while maximizing the brand’s impact in the market.

You will work closely with Global Product Creation, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, and Geography Merchandising and Marketplace Teams to drive merchandising excellence and ensure a consumer-first approach to Women’s Global Football business.

We need someone with:

      •           Consumer-Centric Mindset: A strong understanding of the Nike consumer and the ability to anticipate and adapt to trends.

      •           Merchandising Expertise: Ability to craft a significant product mix, shape business strategies, and influence multi-season plans.

      •           Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and leadership that inspire and bring teams together while valuing diverse perspectives.

      •           Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in retail metrics, key performance indicators, and financial insights.

      •           Agility & Problem-Solving: Quick thinking, resourceful, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Qualifications:

      •           Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      •           At least 2+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail in a vertical or wholesale environment.

      •           Experience in footwear, apparel, or equipment merchandising.

      •           Strong strategy-building skills to shape future business opportunities.

      •           Proven ability to balance art and science in decision-making.

      •           Self-directed, independent, and motivated to drive results.

  • Leverage data, consumer insights, and marketplace trends to create seasonal assortments aligned with brand initiatives and key retail moments.
  • Drive the consumer product offering various product ranges, from insights to product adoption.
  • Influence the end-to-end product offering, focusing on Nike’s most innovative franchises.
  • Manage multi-season product assortments with a deep understanding of the Nike consumer, marketplace landscapes, and retail environments.
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering innovation.
