WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Sr. Principal Technical Product Manager to lead efforts for Infrastructure Engineering, aimed at evolving Nike’s Global Technology infrastructure from ideation through to deployment and adoption. This role requires a product expert who is well-versed in new tech advancements in cloud computing and networking. This role will also plan, strategize, communicate and manage delivery timelines as we deliver modern cloud infrastructure, networking and security solutions to drive maximum business value and operational efficiencies. 

A successful candidate will be a servant leader with technical expertise and ability to create a clear e2e roadmap.  Delivery those capabilities through clear communication, teamwork, creativity, strategic thinking, problem-solving, commitment, inclusion, and positivity.  Experience building a culture and working in a large distributed organization. Proven track record of driving change and transformation in cloud networking, and edge compute engineering technologies, tools, and processes through metrics-driven, KPI-based methodologies, and an evidence-based continuous improvement approach to best meet business objectives and priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In the role you will translate business strategies and objectives into strategic direction and plans, lead initiatives, developing talent, problem solve to ensure successful delivery, maintaining strategic partnerships.  In addition presenting the vision, strategies, and progress to Senior and Executive Leadership. Through cross functional partnership you will create and deliver these capabilities in the areas of Retail, Digital, Logistics, Planning, Product, Manufacturing and Marketing.

Ensure that innovation, scale, and security are embedded within the culture. Identify and assess technology trends and articulate technology recommendations.  Collaborate with Engineering to devlop a clear vision, outcomes, and roadmap for the future cloud and foundational capabilities transforming the organization into Products and Platforms through Self-Service, Automation, Agentic and AIOps.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports to Sr Director of Technical Product Management for Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance and Infrastructure Engineering.  This role will focus on Tech Product Management for Infrastructure Engineering, you will partner with  Engineering Leaders and Technical Product Management across multiple functions to develop a cohesive product strategy, product roadmap, and to ensure business goals are met and exceeded. You will deliver value based on a solid understanding of core IT operations, consumer needs and insights. Above all, you will be a relentless champion for the needs of our partners serving Nike consumers.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management in foundational areas

  • Proven success and experience delivering clear executive level communications 

  • Multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) experience preferred

  • Experience with working across Infrastruction, Networking, Platform, Operations to build core platform products and make “build versus buy” decisions

  • Experience with Cloud Optimizations, Efficiency, and Metrics

  • Demonstrated usage of KPI, Metrics, and Data Driven to achieve Business Results

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of cloud technologies
