Assortment Planner, EMEA
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Join a dynamic team of planners dedicated to sales planning, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the Nike Marketplace Partner (NMP) business. As an Assortment Planner, you will collaborate across a wide network of teams, including Merchandising, Finance, Sports & Business planning, and S&IM. You'll serve as the NMP partner lead in multiple forums, coordinating and consolidating key deliverables for the NMP team.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated experience in assortment / retail planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning (min +3years)
Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset that is ready to leverage statistical forecasting, data science and new ways of working to develop a fact-based plan
Ability to think critically and understand the potential of data & quantify any gaps to financial plan from a product potential perspective.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you'll:
The Assortment Planner role is responsible for developing and/or informing/influencing seasonal plan based on rolling SSP inclusive of retail sales (value / units), receipts, and inventory at the levels of Franchise/Merch Class x Sports x Marketplace unit
You will develop strategies to meet Sports Offense strategic and financial goals and own product-driven OTB forecast to inform manufacturing decisions through to in-season optimization
Analyze the business against plan and forecasted in-season sales and inventories on a monthly or weekly basis assessing business risk/opportunity & developing action plans and driving escalations where needed Monitor top Franchise SSPs & drive x-marketplace decision-making to optimize product health and captured consumer demand and inform trading/pricing decisions
Set and manage E2E inventory health within and across categories &NMP MPU’s within your MPU, plus understanding impact on overall marketplace health. Communicate and advocate Assortment Plan to x-functional leadership team at Franchise-/Merch Class- level through the lens of Sports Offense and In partnership with Merchandising to optimize sell-in in line with MPU strategy and marketplace role
Drive projects independently; Prioritize workload and deliverables within the project

Own seasonal business plans (e.g., banner, account, account group) and manage all seasons post-bookings broadcast.

Review performance against plan and forecast monthly, assess risks and opportunities, and create action plans—escalating when needed.
Drive Strategic & Financial Goals
Develop strategies to achieve Win Now objectives and guide in-season optimization.
· Drive Marketplace Health
Partner with key stakeholders across Geo to ensure marketplace business health and alignment with strategic objectives.
· Influence In-Season Performance
Execute inventory sell-through actions within the marketplace and support weekly trade processes and decisions.
· Optimize Trade-Offs
Align planning rolling forecasts to Sport and execute cross- trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, margin, and market share.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Integrated Teams—including Business Planners, Assortment Planners, and cross-functional partners—as well as cross-functional leadership. Your primary stakeholders are the Commercial and Planning teams for Sport and MPU Partners
