WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a member of the Global Learning & Development team, you will focus on the strategic development and execution of the learning solutions and programs that serve our 53K Firstline teammates (Retail, Distribution Center, and AirMI) across the globe. You will report to the Global L&D Director – Firstline. You will partner across the Global L&D team as well as with various functions and HR teams including People Solutions, HR COEs, Business HR, Functional Experts (Legal, Comms, Strategy, etc.) and the Firstline business to optimize opportunities to provide a world-class portfolio of learning solutions to Firstline.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role in Global L & D designs and implements new learning solutions and serves as the program owner for delivery of high impact learning solutions in our Global L & D core program portfolio for Firstline. This role is integral to deliver on our dedication to equip our Nike teammates to be their best self with a focus on our Firstline teammates (Retail, Distribution Center, and AirMI). We are looking for a team player who provides strategic perspective on the development of learning solutions for Firstline teammates and leverages their instructional design experience to create learning programs, through cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
We are searching for an L&D professional who thrives in ambiguity, is flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced organization and can demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to communicate across all levels and functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Degree or certification in instructional design or equivalent experience and training
- 6-8 years of experience in adult learning solution development and delivery
- Strong communication, facilitation and listening skills to engage with a broad business audience (employees to executives)
- Experience and expertise in building and leading learning programs for retail, distribution center and manufacturing populations
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to find opportunities to enhance the Global Learning & Development portfolio
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgment of who to engage and when to escalate
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Strategic:
- Work on newly articulated leadership and teammate development strategies spanning all employees while helping to define programs and cultivating innovative learning methods to elevate the learning impact and experience for our NIKE, Inc. Firstline teammates.
- Design, develop and execute end-to-end, scalable Firstline learning solutions and programs with a deep commitment to serve our Nike teammates with learning solutions that enable them to be their best.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across HR and the business including the Talent COE, Business HR, People Solutions, Firstline functional training teams and Functional Experts to optimize opportunities to provide a world-class portfolio of learning solutions.
- Manage strategic learning initiatives ensuring key stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, vendor management and excellent project leadership (quality, issue escalation, budget, and achieve time bound milestones).
Operational:
- Partner with People Solutions, L&D facilitation and operations teams to provide seamless delivery of Global L & D Core Programs.
- Manage assigned budgets, AOP and Operational, optimizing spend and evaluating and engaging others in upstream/downstream impact of budget decisions.
- Continuously improve learning solutions using data to inform and ensure partners are engaged in upstream/downstream impact of actions.
Leadership:
- Build and sustain a strong Nike internal network across HR, key cross-functional partners, and Nike leaders.
- Serve as a role model of the Nike Maxim’s, Leadership Defined and HR policies.
- Build and sustain a strong external network of learning professionals.
