We are hiring two Principal HR Business Partners (HRBP) in EMEA: one supporting the Inspire function (Marketing, Sports Marketing, Communications) and one supporting Marketplace (Sales, Nike Direct, Country LTs). Each role serves as a trusted, strategic advisor to senior leaders within the respective function, partnering closely with the business to advance Nike’s vision, strategy, and teammate experience.
The Principal HRBP operates at the intersection of business strategy, organization design, and talent, translating business strategy into impactful people solutions while providing senior‑level HR leadership and consultation.
The role collaborates closely with GEO, Global, and Country leaders, Global Business HR (BHR), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and People Solutions to design and deliver integrated People and Talent strategies. In addition, the role leads end-to-end design and delivery of people initiatives that enable consistent teammate experiences and enterprise outcomes.
The role reports to the Senior HRBP for Marketplace & Sales or the HRBP for Inspire, depending on assignment.

Significant, relevant experience in Human Resources
Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders
Experience leading or supporting large-scale transformations preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Principal HRBP, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership teams within either Inspire or Marketplace, driving key people initiatives aligned to business priorities.
People Strategy
You will localize and activate the Global Function People Strategy and annual plan in partnership with GEO business leaders, ensuring alignment with both Global and GEO business strategies. You will translate strategy into a compelling narrative that motivates teammates, track progress against outcomes, and continuously adjust plans based on insights. You will also share learnings and insights with BHR partners to enable enterprise alignment.
Program & Initiative Design
You will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of people initiatives that are business-relevant and tailored to the employee groups you support. This includes close partnership with People Solutions, COEs, and global peers to ensure initiatives are aligned to Nike’s global frameworks, operationally feasible, and delivered effectively.
Talent Strategy
You will support strategic workforce planning within the GEO in partnership with HR and business leaders. You will ensure talent strategies reflect local needs while remaining aligned with global direction. In collaboration with Global BHR, you will support talent planning, succession, and movement, while driving accountability among leaders for performance management, development, and engagement.
Leadership Team Effectiveness & Coaching
You will coach senior leaders and leadership teams to strengthen effectiveness, ways of working, and leadership capability. You will identify opportunities for improvement, co-create action plans with leaders, and monitor progress over time.
Culture of Belonging
You will partner with leaders to build a distinctive, inclusive Nike culture where teammates feel a strong sense of belonging. Using insights from listening tools and feedback, you will help shape strategies and actions that strengthen engagement, equity, and inclusion.
Organization Design & Effectiveness (OD/OE)
With a deep understanding of the business, you will continuously assess organizational design and operating models to ensure they support current and future strategies. You will identify opportunities, develop OD/OE strategies, and support implementation—both as part of ongoing organizational health and larger transformation efforts.
