WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will join our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as a member of the Footwear Supply Chain (FWSC), Footwear Manufacturing Engineering (FME) team. This role will be part of a global organization dedicated to delivering excellence to our consumers every day and collaborate with diverse team of engineering subject matter experts with various experience in a multitude of disciplines. Key partners are the teams within Footwear Manufacturing Engineering team, Factory Partners and other Functions such as Product Creation, Sourcing, Responsible Supply Chain, and Cost Engineering. This role will work at the country level across all partners located within country and will strive to ensure connectivity with the local Partner Management office (PMO) leadership team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role will play a key part in advancing our global FW Manufacturing Engineering strategic initiatives by employing a standardized and consistent approach and cultivating the development of future-ready leaders.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the areas of Engineering, Product Development, Automation, Lean, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
- 3-5 years of people management/ leadership/ influence experience in Footwear or other industry.
- Bachelor's degree (ideally) with a focus in Engineering, Business Management or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Capable in System Thinking – Thinks beyond the tactical and about manufacturing at the system level.
- Data Driven – Understands the use of data and application of statistical methods and tools, able to leverage data for fact-based decision making.
- Forward and Conceptual Thinking – Proactively seeks diversity of inputs and potential solutions; Consistently challenges the status quo and thinks beyond traditional solutions and approaches.
- Experience in applying knowledge of Manufacturing Operations – systems, processes, technologies, and materials required to consistently produce finished goods to a measurable standard – to identify opportunities and drive progress against goals.
- Demonstrated experience in working with multiple functions/stakeholders.
- Proven team player/ people leader with ability to coach, develop and inspire.
- Strong communication skill with fluent verbal and written English language ability.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office programs, business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.

- Collaborate with Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Factory partners and cross functional teams to drive initiatives, functional best practices, new tools and systems, and forums in support of delivering product, product excellence and elevating product quality.
- Landscape factory partners modernization solutions and catalyse actions to proliferate those solutions (optimize, automate, digitalize).
- Drive manufacturing improvement through capability building and evolved factory digital connectivity.

- Ensure alignment with global engineering strategies while delivering impactful solutions at the local level.
