WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As Principal Merchandising Energy & Sportwear Specialty you'll be part of the EMEA Merchandising Function. Our role is to win with consumers by anchoring product strategies in the Sport Offense and creating differentiated retail experiences.

We obsess consumer, marketplace, competition, and partner insights to serve current and future needs. This requires strong cross-Sport and cross-functional collaboration, creating alignment through clarity, trust, and pragmatic solutions.

You'll work closely with:

  • Jordan Merchandising team across Sport, Channel, and Nike Direct.

  • Geo Sport and GEL (Geo Express Lane) teams.

  • Global Product and Merchandising teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive Merchandising, Buying, and/or Sales experience with strong business and retail acumen and deep understanding of the EMEA Energy marketplace and its cultural nuances.

  • Deep cultural acumen across consumer communities, streetwear, athletic industry, entertainment, and competitive trends.

  • ⁠Strong expertise in identifying and interpreting consumer insights and translating cultural signals into relevant and channel distinctive product strategies.

  • Excellent storytelling, product expertise and communication skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and find alignment in a fast-paced complex environment.

  • Proactive solution-oriented thinker with an innovative mindset, willingness to test new strategies and push boundaries.

  • Educates and inspires team on industry shifts in consumer behaviour and marketplace dynamics.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead EMEA Energy and Sw Specialty Product and Channel merchandising for Jordan, shaping a clear consumer-centric strategy that connects across Sports and across sub-Channels. You will be the geo voice for global and geo line planning, translate global direction into EMEA relevant assortments, build 3YR cross-Sport and cross-Channel line plans, ultimately driving end-to-end execution from ideation to go-to-market strategy.   

You will collaborate closely with Geo and Global Merchandising, and geo Brand, Sales and Planning stakeholders, to deliver cohesive storytelling, marketplace differentiation, and sustainable growth. You will guide teams in an inspirational way, through cultural insight, strategic rigor and operational excellence, ensuring the Energy business shows up with clarity and relevance across the EMEA marketplace.

This role will hard line report to the EMEA Jordan, Senior Merchandising Director with a dotted line report into the EMEA Jordan Energy GM.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the EMEA Energy merchandising strategy, translating consumer insights into product opportunities.

  • Build 3YR cross-Sport and cross-Channel line plans for the EMEA Energy and Sw Specialty marketplace.  

  • Drive end-to-end Product and Channel merchandising execution, from ideation to go-to-market, defining clear assortment direction for sales teams with cohesive storytelling and keeping teams aligned across global, geo and city.

  • Define and deliver EMEA relevant seasonal assortments across sub-channels, ensuring marketplace distinction, including recommendations for Sport & Streetwear for Sportswear Ignite.

  • Create integrated product stories for Jordan’s most important marketplace moments.
