WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As Principal, Nature, Waste & Circularity Deployment, you’ll be a key member of Nike’s Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) team in Singapore, reporting to the Director. You’ll partner with global sustainability leaders, manufacturing partners, supplier executives, legal, engineering, government teams, and external organizations. Collaboration spans footwear, apparel, accessories, and materials management to implement circularity strategies and strengthen RSC capabilities in water management and waste treatment. You’ll set standards, develop supplier ROI capabilities, influence leadership, and connect global strategy with regional execution for water and circularity initiatives.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a strategic and technically skilled leader to advance Nike’s Nature and Circularity strategies across global manufacturing operations. This individual contributor role requires expertise in water and waste management, circularity, and change leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related fields (Water, Chemistry, Circularity).
8+ years of experience in industrial water management, wastewater treatment, or waste and circularity initiatives in footwear or apparel.
Technical expertise to guide factory partners on water efficiency, recycling, and reuse.
Experience leading pilot programs to reduce, recycle, and divert waste from landfills.
Preferred background in facility or factory management involving water, wastewater, boilers, and energy conservation.
Advanced project management and change leadership skills; ability to set annual targets and monitor progress.
Strong analytical skills to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint proficiency required).
Ability to inspire teams and deliver value-driven outcomes.
Willingness to travel 15–20%.
Proven stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
Capacity to build relationships quickly and deliver rigorous, well-communicated results.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll design and deploy Nature and Circularity strategies across manufacturing sites in Vietnam, South Asia, Greater China, Taiwan & Korea, India & Sri Lanka, Europe, and North America. You’ll ensure transparency, clear roles, and measurable outcomes from planning through execution. On a typical day, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to align on a five-year deployment plan.
Maintain clarity and accountability during planning and implementation.
Communicate the vision and inspire action across teams.
Track, manage, and share progress with Nike teams and factory partners.
Develop playbooks and documentation for Nature and Circularity rollouts.
Lead meetings with Water & Waste Consultants to monitor execution.
Share success stories and represent Nike at learning communities and best-practice events.
Present Nature and Circularity updates in quarterly business reviews.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Support RSC Supplier Summit planning and provide operational assistance for data management and reporting.
