WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Nike is a highly collaborative environment, and you will be part of a team of HR professionals and business stakeholders.
You will report to the Director, People Solutions Consulting in France, and you will work with the various HR teams based in France and across EMEA:
- In your day-to-day job, you will work closely with the People Solutions Consulting team in France; you will also be collaborating with the broader EMEA People Solutions Consulting team on processes or projects that have a cross regional impact.
- In addition, you will work closely with the People Solutions Services on escalated inquires, and partner with the People Solutions Global Process Owner Leads on continuous improvements.
- Business HR will be a key stakeholder to gain business context and align on business projects.
Finally, you will coach and consult with People Managers in the France organization, across corporate and store-based teams. You will also collaborate with key Investigation Partners in Global Security, Legal, Threat Management, Global Investigations to resolve escalated matters, support leaders with employee outcomes.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Director, People Solutions Consulting in France and act as project manager to align country-specific priorities with overarching goals and global standards. This includes initiatives related to total rewards, talent acquisition, and talent management.
- Deliver integrated People Solutions across Nike's business, addressing high-visibility and complex support needs. This includes guiding the business through critical HR cycles (e.g., APR, midyear stock awards, year-end feedback) and delivering unique local programs as needed.
- Partner with the Director, People Solutions Consulting, and Lead, Labor Relations to maintain the Labor Relations roadmap, provide consultation on labor requirements for HR programs launches, and ensure timely communication of country-specific nuances to stakeholders.
- Provide expert support and analysis for HR Specialized Services, resolving complex transactions across all organizational levels and addressing escalations with innovative solutions.
- Enhance knowledge and case management systems to resolve business inquiries effectively.
- Utilize KPI and reporting insights to provide analysis, recommendations, and strategic support to businesses and functions upon request.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead or contribute significantly to consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process or tool enhancements, leading project teams to implement improvements.
- Consult and coach self-service solutions for people leaders across Corporate and Retail sectors.
- Manage high-level cases and escalations, engaging COE and BHR partners to develop effective solutions.
- Mentor team members to support inquiry resolution and specialized services delivery across various functions.
KEY EXPERTISE
- Strong project management discipline for effective delivery coordination with internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Developed expertise of HR policies, practices, procedures, and their intersection points.
- Proven ability to resolve high-visibility and complex issues with expert consultative skills.
- Utilization of technology, including advanced Workday expertise, to improve and automate backend processes.
- Balance between speed and thoroughness in resolution and delegation.
- Effective consultative and communication skills suited to a broad business audience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Proven ability to drive end-to-end project management, which involves engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and creating a strong communication plan to ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities and outcome.
- Proven ability to drive an HR function at a country level as a generalist, which implies managing daily HR activities of a corporate and retail organization, implementing HR policies and standards, managing HR priorities based on expected outcome and impact, and interaction with Works Councils.
- Proven ability to roll out global and regional Programs at country level, taking in consideration local specificities without compromising on long-term goals.
- Deep understanding of the Nike business and its HR requirements.
