WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Principal Program Manager joins Nike’s Distribution & Transportation (DOT) team at ELC, the beating heart of Nike logistics in Europe. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Distribution & Outbound Transportation, and collaborating with the Senior Director, Technical Program Management, Supply Chain & Planning, this role partners across technology, senior leadership, and delivery teams to drive impactful programs.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike seeks a strategic program leader with a proven track record in large-scale, cross-functional delivery. The ideal candidate has coordinated 15+ tech teams across time zones, excels in executive communications, and brings strong supply chain and technical acumen. Success in this role requires influencing without authority, navigating complexity, and thriving in an inclusive, action-oriented culture.
Key requirements:
- 10+ years of program management experience, focused on large-scale technology or supply chain programs.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating 15+ tech teams across multiple time zones.
- Expertise in executive stakeholder communications and reporting.
- Proficiency in all phases of program delivery, from inception to post go-live hyper care.
- ability to navigate at various levels of detail
- Strong influencing skills and end-to-end supply chain understanding.
- Proactive in driving & steering the work.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
- Experience with WMS/TMS implementations.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in logistics and transportation.
- Experience in global or multi-regional supply chain environments.
- Transition management expertise.
- English fluency required; Dutch is a plus.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead delivery for large-scale programs in Distribution & Outbound Transportation, supporting all phases from planning to hyper care. You’ll coordinate across technology, operations, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. You’ll facilitate timely decision-making, escalate risks when needed, and communicate clearly with senior leaders, while understanding the realities of delivery teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive delivery of major programs, including WMS/TMS upgrades, with impact across DOT and beyond.
- Build and execute integrated program plans, monitor progress, and adjust to meet timelines and budgets.
- Establish program governance, operational models, and health reporting.
- Facilitate decision-making and escalate when delays threaten program success.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Communicates program status, risks, and needs to senior leaders and VPs.
- Champion Nike’s ASAP culture, inclusion, and “just do it” mentality at ELC.
