The AIC Advanced Digital Creation Studio team provides a competitive advantage by leveraging the power of modern technologies, methodologies, skills, and services to fuel advanced athlete insights, product innovation, and craft. We seek to identify and accelerate new digital approaches to generating athlete insights, designing innovative products, and leveraging advanced manufacturing methods to create compelling consumer products and services.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Principal Solutions Innovator works across the Advanced Innovation Collective (AIC) and product creation teams, connecting with other digital innovators and key internal and external partners to research, develop, and deliver digital concepts and solutions. The ideal candidate brings their wealth of diversity to Nike and our Innovation family, has proven experience and domain expertise, as well as an established track record in delivering digital software solutions.
You will collaborate with experts in user experience, 3D modeling and visualization, software development, computational design, data and machine learning, and integrated workflows/pipeline to conceptualize, prototype, validate, and deliver high value digital solutions. You will partner with members of the user communities in design, materials, engineered textiles, engineering and manufacturing to understand their needs / jobs to be done and develop solutions that address the needs.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Experience designing and building complex software solutions
- Highly proficient building 2D and 3D software
- Experience building cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to develop simple and elegant solutions to complex engineering problems and design challenges using algorithmic thinking
- Experience with multiple programming language (JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python)
- Data visualization (preferred)
- Robotics experiences (preferred)
- ALML experience (preferred)

As a Principal Solutions Innovator, you will be revolutionizing the intersection of technology, manufacturing and the R&D of physical products by delivering functional prototypes and proof of concepts. You will be exploring new concepts and ideas by delivering various solutions that will help to answer key questions. You’ll leverage cutting edge software to play a key role in the creation of next generation materials, product design, engineering, and manufacturing practices that will help to craft the future of Nike’s innovation strategies.
