Procurement Category Lead, Facilities Management

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
This person will be responsible for developing and driving global category strategies across Real Estate and Facilities Management categories. Understands the business/company requirements to improve value and partners with key stakeholders. This includes driving the end-to-end Sourcing process, crafting and leading category strategies, spend and market analysis, running RFx’s, negotiating contracts and pricing and supplier relationship management.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align category sourcing strategies and resources with business objectives and project requirements
Negotiate best possible pricing, concessions, and other Ts and Cs to meet savings and spend expectations
Negotiate, draft/redline governing agreements, work orders other contract documents
Partner with cross-functional partners such as privacy, legal, risk, compliance, security as applicable to conduct due diligence
Leverage data to evaluate additional category sourcing opportunities and implement sourcing pipeline to drive commercial value for the organization
Conduct thorough market analysis and research to stay abreast of trends, emerging technologies, supplier capabilities and competitive landscapes to develop a market POV
Stay on top of industry standards and trends related to responsibilities
Foster strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and business partners globally
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage in the market, assurance of supply and operational cost-effectiveness
Manage and develop key suppliers using SRM tools and industry best practices
Measure and monitor progress and ensure savings and performance targets are achieved
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll collaborate with peer and cross function teams to support real estate and facilities management categories. You'll be reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities Services Procurement,
WHAT YOU BRING
Advanced sourcing in Real Estate and Facilities Management categories
8-10 years Real Estate and Facilities Management procurement experience, CPM Certification a plus
Demonstrated capability to use data to make business decisions
Experience with cross-collaborating to define and advance shared vision resulting in actionable strategies and priorities
Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
Must be exceptionally details-oriented, independent and able to successfully manage multiple concurrent project demands within established timeline
Possess a positive attitude, excellent communication and analytical skills
Proactive, result oriented with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs
