WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will partner cross-functionally and within the broader Men's Nike Sportswear (NSW) Apparel Product team. The key partners you will work with include:

  • Product Management

  • Global and Geography Merchandising

  • Global Design (Cut/Sew, Graphic and Color Design)

  • Cross-Field of Play Partners, including Headwear, Accessories, and Men's Apparel Teammates

  • Global Apparel Materials (GLAM), Technical Development, and Product Creation Center (PCC)

  • Consumer Insights

  • Margin and Finance, Sourcing and Costing, and Planning

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking Product Line Manager II candidates who have a passion for apparel and a desire to serve Consumers. In this role you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of segments of the apparel business, supporting the product management team against key gates/dates and product deliverables within the NSW Classics and Skateboarding businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for product and serving consumers, a growth mindset, and a great attitude. 

Collaboration and a desire to work as a team to achieve our goals will be critical for success. You'll work as a member of the team to develop a deep understanding of the consumer, drawing connections between consumer insights and marketplace opportunities to create products that move the consumer and business forward. A passion for apparel, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment will all be critical components to success.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

  • 1+ years of experience in product, merchandising, or similar consumer-oriented role

  • Creativity and passion for product, consumers, lifestyle fashion/trend, sport, color and style

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships

  • Attention to detail and proven record of delivery against deadlines

  • Necessary Skills/Tools: Excel, SmartSheets, Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro); MMX understanding is a bonus

  • Domestic and international travel (limited Int’l) required (±5%)

  • Able to pass the Munsell Hue color test to determine visual color acuity 

  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

For Global Men's NSW, everything begins and ends with the consumer! The PLM II will need to understand our consumer, have a passion for apparel product, and stay on top of trend and market insights. As a key steward of our systems, data integrity will be an integral part of success for this role, including the translation of information across teams, maintaining system accuracy and running ad hoc reports to drive better understanding of our data and build business acumen. In this role you will have the opportunity to blend art with science to bring the Global Men's NSW vision to life in our physical and digital retail environments to ensure a premium Brand and consumer experience.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Support the product management team and product strategy as we work towards building industry leading apparel that inspires consumers globally. 

  • Facilitate Product Line Management team deliverables for the Classics Apparel portfolio and work closely with a variety of cross-functional partners to ensure excellence in data and product integrity.

  • Own the creation and maintenance of foundational tools and processes, including Visual Line Plans (VLPs), Sample Management, and Product Toolkits.

  • Be seen as a leader for the business, expected to keep projects on task and communicate regularly to partners.
