WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Senior Manager, GPS Program Management and is a member of the GPS Operations team. In this role you will work closely with GPS leaders across multiple functions including Global Places and Services, Operations and Business Coordination to drive program implementation. You will collaborate with Nike business partners in Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal and HR. You will also engage strategic partners in integrated facilities management, food services, travel and events.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Professional, GPS Program Management to drive GPS programs and ensure they deliver the intended value to our stakeholders and business partners. This includes providing program and project management support to deliver GPS capabilities and services globally.
This candidate needs to have strong program management skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodology. They will demonstrate adaptability and resilience, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and effective collaboration and communication.
What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience with increasing scope and responsibility and at least 2 years project/program management experience delivering global or multi-regional projects
Formal project management methodology experience
Experience managing global or cross-regional programs and projects at a Fortune 500 company preferred
PMP certification preferred
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with GPS leaders and business partners to manage GPS programs and strategic initiatives. You will lead and mentor project team members and provide program and project management support including:
Developing and implementing tools and processes to manage GPS programs
Identify and manage project issues and risks, evaluate solutions, develop contingency plans
Maintain all key project and transition management artifacts/processes through the life of the project
Building strong internal and external partner networks to share best practices
Prioritizing and managing a portfolio of programs and projects
Managing complex, enterprise-level programs
Defining program governance
Managing stakeholder engagement
Planning programs and monitoring progress
Driving comms and transition management
Delivering status reporting
