Role & Responsibilities:

70%

  • Manage daily customs operation, e.g. declaration documents validation, HS classification, duty & VAT payment and ensure timely and accurate customs filing and all domestic and import shipments delivery in speed.
  • Tariff classification: determine appropriate HS codes and ensure rules updated in Nike trade system

  • Familiar with Customs regulations and have customs professional knowledge (HS, valuation, etc.), able to handle Customs exceptional cases, and quick response to policy changes with proper implementation.
  • Responsible for cost analysis, performance improvement, regular review and optimize the SOP to ensure the operation efficiency
  • System data maintain and work with global tech & LSP team for systematic error fixing
  • Regular meetings with global trade & customs network team for operation excellence and vendor training matters

  • Projects: Participate in global and local projects, e.g. Trade automation, factory special trade program audit, support GC supply chain network strategy, etc.

  • Others exceptional cases handling, e.g. internal audit, financials. Reports: Territory Trade Data, Customs audit data, and other reports

Working Experience:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in logistics field.
  • Familiar with import / export process, HS classification, Comprehensive knowledge in Customs laws & regulations. Footwear and apparel industry working experience is preferred.

MINIMUM SKILLS:

  • Good computer/Microsoft office skills, presentation skills.
  • Communication/Language: Good personal skills and strong communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • High sense of responsibility, Willing to learn, Self-motivated, Multi-tasking, Work under stress
