The team develops and implements Sports Marketing strategies, obtains endorsements and licensing agreements, and provides meaningful services & experiences to the best athletes in the world.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Professional Football Operations in the Sports Marketing Department. In this role, you are accountable for the end-to-end process of football boot launches across Nike football player portfolio within EMEA. On top of that our team is supporting the SM Field team managing the Northern Europe and Africa player portfolio including players from outside of EMEA competing in our region (FPS) as well as the Dutch Football Federation (KNVB) located close by EHQ.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As the center of excellence team of EMEA SM Ops, we are accountable for coordinating and providing direction to the SM OPS country teams in the different EMEA territories.
Your main focus areas will be:
- EMEA centralized Football footwear launches in alignment with Brand and Retail to build demand from our target consumers.
- Football footwear, Goalie Glove and Performance Pack forecasts in alignment with Sports marketing strategy and within budget.
- Inventory management to ensure product availability at key Sports marketing on-pitch launch moments (World Cup 2026 coming up amongst other key moments)
- Premium (Ops and Finance) service level to our NE (incl KNVB), Africa and FPS assets
- Process improvement on service level and digital tools.
- External vendor/partner management: managing relationships and improving the collaboration based on our SM strategy.
Also, you could potentially work on side projects related to your own development opportunities.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report to the Manager of Football Operations and you will closely work with the wider EMEA SM Ops and FTB team, Global Football, DSM (planning), ELC (Distribution Centre) and our key vendors.
As a real teammate you support other non-Football Ops teams where needed.
WHAT YOU BRING:
A successful candidate will be encouraged to clearly demonstrate their experience of the below crucial requirements to be considered.
- Prior Experience in Logistics in a supply chain, operations, allocation or planning role.
- Experience in forecasting and inventory management, as well as, affinity with data analytics.
- Track record of implementing process changes through automation or any innovative way of working.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and partners at a senior level.
- Digital literacy is a plus: Excel, SAP, Cognos, Tableau.
- Comfortable with Financial tools like Coupa and Aravo
- Passion for football and sports is a must.
- Experience in the sports industry is a big plus.
